Orthos (Super Rare Cat)

Orthos is a Super Rare Cat that was added in Version 6.2 and can be unlocked by playing the Rare Cat Capsule during the Merc Storia Collaboration Event. True Form added in Version 7.5 increases his health, attack, range, and decreases his attack rate. Talents were added in Version 12.7.

Strategy/Usage

Orthos, once you get his True Form, holds up very well against other midrangers like him such as Castaway Cat. While Castaway has the Survivor ability, Orthos has a lower cooldown. He can arguably used to the same caliber as Seafarer in generalist scenarios, so using Catseyes on Orthos isn't a waste at all.

Orthos' Knockback against Floating is average but sometimes helpful; it can help keep away Teacher Bun Bun variants and the like with the help of Sanzo Cat, assuming the stage allows you to do so safely. Using his knockback may hurt or do nothing for your side of the battle, as Floating enemies tend to appear alongside backliners, but it has its uses.

• Knockback: Increases knockback chance by 2% per level up to 20% (Total Cost: 125 NP)
• Immune to Slow (Cost: 75 NP)
• Mini-Surge: Adds a 10% chance to create a level 1 mini-surge between 150~450 range, improves by 10% per level up to 100% (Total Cost: 165 NP)
• Defense Buff: Upgrades health by 2% per level up to 20% (Total Cost: 125 NP)

Appearance

• Normal Form: A monochrome boy in a cloak wielding a spear.
• Evolved Form: Now in color. The boy was finally blessed with white wings and now flies.
• True Form: Now wears a coat and a red beanie with goggles strapped around it. He also has a satchel strapped on his shoulder.
