Passion Land

Passion Land (情熱の国 Jōnetsu no Kuni, Passion Land) is the 2nd sub-chapter of Stories of Legend. It was added in Version 2.0 and is available up to 4♛ difficulty.

Difficulty

This sub-chapter is extremely easy. It is almost as easy as The Legend Begins, but the last level, Tapas Desert, can be tricky: it introduces Master A., which is a very difficult enemy to deal with early on. Still, this sub-chapter is rather easy overall.

• 2♛ difficulty for this sub-chapter multiplies enemy strength magnifications by 150%.
• 3♛ difficulty for this sub-chapter multiplies enemy strength magnifications by 200%.
• 4♛ difficulty for this sub-chapter multiplies enemy strength magnifications by 300% and only allows Special Cats and Rare Cats to be deployed.

New Features

This sub-chapter introduces one new enemy:

• Master A.: A long-ranged enemy who can deal heavy amounts of damage to your units over time and knockback your ranged attackers before they can get to him. This enemy even outranges Bahamut Cat as well as many other heavy hitters, making him quite annoying to deal with.

• The stages of this sub-chapter (except for Bone Dry Gardens) are named after some of Spain's typical foods and drinks, famous places and traditions.
  • Nyandalucia being the Andalucía region, south of Spain.
  • Paella Field is named after a typical food, most popular in Valencia.
  • Flamenco Hole is named after Flamenco, a music and dance style typical of Andalucía, Murcia and Extremadura.
  • Sangria River refers to Sangría, an alcoholic drink made out of wine, fruits and a sweetener.
  • Gazpacho Highland: Gazpacho is a cold soup, from Andalucía.
  • Churros Night: Sort of dessert, usually eaten with some hot, sweet, and dense chocolate drink.
  • Tapas Desert: Tapas is the name for the food that usually comes with the drinks you order in a bar.
