Strategy[]

Strategy 1 (Rush)[]

Lineup: Yesterday's Enemy, Trainspotting, Bullet Train Cat 45, Fishman Cat 50+3, Can Can Cat (Move Speed (10), Double Bounty) 50+4, Courier Cat 50, Manic Eraser Cat 50, Awakened Bahamut Cat 40

Cannon: Breakerblast

Items: Rich Cat

Notes: Higher levels will make the strategy more consistent.

With a Rich Cat on, spawn a Manic Eraser Cat when your cash is around 800, followed by a Can Can Cat. The Can Can Cat should one-shot the Gabriel, giving you a cash boost. Wait until you have enough money, then spawn Awakened Bahamut. From there, spawn Manic Erasers, Bullet Train, Fishman, Courier, and Can Can periodically. Make sure to take priority spawning Manic Eraser before the other units. When Chickful A spawns, try to time your Breakerblast so that once she attacks again, she kills your Manic Erasers instead of hitting Bahamut. Timing the Cannon incorrectly and having Bahamut die is enough to end a run, so try not to mess up. A good run will have you kill the base before Rangmaster spawns, while a bad one might have him spawn when the base HP is around 100,000. If you're in the second situation, don't fret, since the amount of Couriers that you had spawned leading up to Rangmaster appearing will simply take out the last bit of health from the base due to his piercing range. As always, higher levels will decrease the chance of you making a silly mistake and losing.

Trivia[]

  • Performant Thunderclap's Japanese name, Kanaderu wa Jinrai no Oto (奏でるは迅雷の音, "Playing is the Sound of Thunderclaps"), is similar to the title of one of the quests in Monster Hunter Portable 3rd: Mau wa Arashi, Kanaderu wa Saika no Shirabe (舞うは嵐、奏でるは災禍の調べ, "Dancing is the Storm, Playing is the Melody of Disaster").
