Playing Bandits is the third stage in The Endless Wood. This stage is a remake of Playing Pirates.

Battleground[]

  • Infinite B.B.Bunnies spawn, delay 6~12 seconds180f~360f.
  • Infinite Those Guys (4,000%) spawn, delay 6~12 seconds180f~360f.
  • When the base reaches 99% HP:

Strategy[]

4 Oldhorns at once may sound scary, but in practice they don't push that much harder than 1 alone; and unlike in Annin Pass or Mince Hill, you're free to stall as long as you want before facing them. Your lineup should center on crowd-control units that can further stop the Oldhorns' advance, while the best Cat Cannon to use is either the Thunderbolt or the Breakerblast.

Strategy 1[]

Lineup: Slapstick Cats, Rivalry (Holy Valkyrie Cat, Awakened Mina), Awakened Bahamut Cat, Awakened Ururun, Gato Amigo, Crazed Wall Cat, Eraser Cat (20+50) Manic Macho Legs, Manic Island Cat (all level 30 except Eraser Cat)

(This lineup is quite flexible. If you can't get the lineup above to work, replacing one of the meatshields with Modern Cat or finding room to add Manic Flying Cat, Can Can Cat, Ultra Delinquent Cat or Cyberpunk Cat may not be a bad idea.)

Cannon: Thunderbolt (10)

Stall with Eraser Cats and Manic Eraser Cats as you stack Minas and upgrade the Worker Cat. Once you have 2-3 Minas on the battlefield, start spamming everything except Bahamut; when you find an opening, send him out to deal massive damage to all 4 Oldhorns at once - don't forget to freeze them with the Thunderbolt Cannon! As long as you're not too unlucky with Valkyrie's, Mina's and Ururun's abilities, you will either survive long enough against the Oldhorns to spawn a second Bahamut or kill them all before that becomes necessary.

Strategy 2[]

Lineup: As many "Knockback" Effect UP Combos as possible, Modern Cat, Maglev Cat and/or Can Can Cat, Thaumaturge Cat, Doctor Cat (must have Target Relic Talent) and a sniper (Megaphrodite, Eva Unit-02 & Cat, etc.) or Cat God the Awesome

At the start, spawn one Can Can Cat and save up cash. When you reach 6000 cents, start spamming everything, except the cats used in your Cat Combos. The strategy here is that Doctor Cat will constantly knockback the Oldhorns behind the base, and the sniper will slowly drain the enemy base's health.

Strategy 3 (All Crowns)[]

Lineup: Biohazard, Bony Bone, Little Warriors, Li'l Eraser Cat 50+29, Cameraman Cat 50+24, Modern Cat 50, Rodeo Cat, Courier Cat 50, Ultimate Mecha-Bun, Awakened Ururun 50

Notes:

  • Lower levels can be acceptable for 1 crown.
  • Ultimate Mecha-Bun can be replaced with another unit.
  • Rodeo Cat can be replaced with another unit.
  • Rodeo Cat has the Target Relic talent.
  • Li'l Eraser Cat has the Defense Buff talent.

Due to the multiple amount of Oldhorns in this stage, it might be more effective to brute-force the Oldhorns rather than using crowd control (unless you happen to have Master Uril). Use any units you may have at your arsenal that can quickly deal a lot of damage or can knockback the Oldhorns. Awakened Bahamut Cat, talented Doctor Cat, Cat God the Golden, Idi:N2, and Cyborg Cat are all good option for this. Regardless, consistently spamming out a super-strong Cameraman Cat will whittle down the Oldhorns in due time.
