• Pointed Lakeshore's Japanese name, Tongari Kohan (トンガリ湖畔, "Tongari Lakeside"), is a pun on Tongari Kōn (とんがりコーン, "Tongari Corn"), the Japanese name of the snack Bugles. Tongari means pointed, hence the English name.
