Strategy[]
This stage is an exact copy of Parade of the Dead, though with a restriction in place. Due to the restriction, players are forced to use expensive units such as ubers, certain tanks and suicide attackers (e.g., Jamiera Cat and Awakened Bahamut Cat) to win the battle.
Strategy 1[]
- The last slot can be dedicated to an Uber who can last quite a bit (Sakura Matou, Balrog Cat, Subterra Guardians etc.)
- Roe Cat cannot have more than level 5 cost down.
- The empty top slots can be dedicated to attack up or defense up combos.
Lineup: Manic Jamiera Cat, Jamiera Cat, Drone Cat, Roe Cat, Cataur (Zombie Killer and target Zombie.), Awakened Bahamut Cat
Items: Rich Cat and Sniper the Cat
Notes:
- The last slot can be dedicated to an Uber who can last quite a bit (Sakura Matou, Balrog Cat, Subterra Guardians etc.)
- Roe Cat cannot have more than level 5 cost down.
- The empty top slots can be dedicated to attack up or defense up combos.
Battle: Spam Jamiera Cat the whole time if you can and time Cataurs to sneak in. Use Awakened Bahamut Cat to whittle down health or kill a stack of Angel enemies. Make sure to have high enough levels for the Jamiera Cats / Manic Jamiera Cats as they do most of the work and stalling. Take care to not send out your less tanky units when you think they'll get hit by Daboo as cash can be a big issue in this stage. Your Uber will help for waves in which Awakened Bahamut Cat isn't available. Use your Holy Blast when Daboo's foreswing is about to end in order to reset his attack animation.
There are two times when you should turn off your Sniper Cat: when other enemies are in the way or when your tanks are slowed while hitting Daboo. If you think you can do it, try to keep track of how many times Sniper Cat bobs up and down (~10 times total before attacking) and disable it not too long before it'll attack. This way, if Daboo is able to be hit, you can take advantage of his long foreswing and activate Sniper right before Daboo attacks.
When Zories come out, use your Cataurs to try and kill them quickly. If they Z-kill, it'll buy you a lot of time before the next wave of enemies. When the second wave of Angel enemies comes out (with Hippoes and Gories), do not use your Holy Blast and save it until the next zombie wave. During this second wave of angels, don't send anything out except for your tanks since you want to find a way to stack them all up so that Bahamut (or your Uber) can hit all of them at once and clean them out the fastest. A good way to do this is to use Manic Jamiera or to use Roe in order to try and get them all in once place. Using non-manic Jamiera to do this is risky because his knockbacks might mess up your goal of synchronizing the enemies. Once they're all lined up, wait for Daboo to finish an attack and then send out Bahamut and/or your uber. Depending on how much damage your tanks did to the angels, it'll only take a few hits to kill them and Bahamut might even get some hits on Daboo! However, do NOT use your Holy Blast still to try and get another hit off on Daboo as the next zombie wave is going to be brutal without it.
In the next zombie wave, you'll have to deal with Zories and a Zir Zeal. You can deal with the Zories fairly easily by using tanks and Cataurs but Zir Zeal is a bit trickier. When Zir Zeal tries to burrow past your tanks that are stalling Daboo, use your Holy Blast to cancel it. This might not make sense at first since Zir Zeal will start to attack your stallers and Daboo might advance forward. However, if Zir Zeal burrows past your frontline, he'll keep pushing through whatever you send out and then eventually reach your base. If he hits your stallers, you'll have some time to send out more stallers and Cataurs to hopefully keep him back and then kill him. Daboo will likely advance but you can send him back with your Sniper and Holy Blast. The rest of the fight is just sending out tanks and Cataurs to chip down Daboo while also using A. Bahamut chains to take out Heavenly Hippoes and get some big damage off on Daboo.
If Daboo dies but he was not Z-killed (such as by Bahamut), now's your chance to beat the base! Send out A. Bahamut if you don't have him on the field and spam everything you have. When Daboo revives, he'll have 300,000 health which can take a little while to deal with so just try your best so stall him until Bahamut destroys the base.
