The Starred Alien version of Master A., Project A follows the recurring theme of dark and dirty thoughts (attacks by shooting out his dark green electrical tongue like a frog). He deals low damage but has a 20% chance of warping your cats back by 500 range.
You need long-ranged cats, speedy cats or luck to defeat this enemy. Awakened Bahamut can quickly remove him from the battlefield as long as there are no frontliners on the enemy's side. If you have tanky and heavy-hitting cats or any Warp Blockers, bring them, as they can tank his tongue and hit him where it hurts. Rover Cat is a potent meatshield against him, and any other anti-Alien cat with sufficient health or range will also be of use; Castaway Cat is recommended, especially if his True Form and Warp Blocker Talent have been unlocked. Can Can Cat may be a good idea as long as Project A doesn't knock it back continuously before Can Can can get to him.
He is the only Master A. variant that doesn't have a dot representing an abbreviation at the end of his name.
He is the only Alien enemy whose Japanese name contains no kana whatsoever.
Even though his and Master A.'s Japanese names can both be translated as "Master", they aren't quite the same: Project A is 巨匠 Kyoshō, meaning "master of an art/craft", while Master A. is 師匠 Shishō, which is closer to "instructor".
