Enemy

The Relic variant of Queen B has very similar characteristics to her predecessor: Extremely high range and Long Distance attacks that inflict a status effect. While Curse may seem less threatening than Slow, Queen Mother V is capable of cursing units for a whopping 111 seconds, crippling the defenses of Anti-Red tankers against the One Horns and Professor As that appear in her debut stage.

Her ability to dance may be on the decline, but her cursing needle skill remains strong as ever. • The Enka mentioned in her Japanese description refers a genre of music that stylistically resembles traditional Japanese music.
• Amongst the Tier 2 Advent Bosses, Queen Mother V represents the virtue of patience, which includes peace and mercy - a requirement if she's to be beloved by her whole hive. Furthermore, patience is commonly associated with old age, which lines up with Queen Mother V being a Relic over 888 years of age.
  • She also has the longest curse duration of all units in the game, requiring great patience to outlast.
• Queen Mother V can be seen as a foil to her original variant: Queen B is an exiled Alien princess, Queen Mother V a beloved Relic queen.
• Mitsue is a Japanese given name with many different spellings, such as 光絵, meaning "bright drawing". In this case, it's 蜜江, meaning "honey river" or "nectar river".
• Her 18,888 damage, 8 knockbacks, 888 minimum effective range and 888 years of performing arts experience are all based on a pun: the Japanese word for 8, 八 hachi, sounds exactly like 蜂, meaning honeybee.
• Her curse duration of 3,333f may refer to how 三つ mittsu (three) sounds much like 蜜 mitsu (honey).
• Her Japanese description originally had a typo. It said 耐えない taenai (intolerable, unbearable) instead of 絶えない taenai (constant, unending).
