The weaker beast out of the two, this "king" is easily a threat in nearly every stage he appears in! High health, average attack, high range as well as a 25% Strengthen increase when at 75% health. Although the 25% doesn't seem like much, it can be very deadly in stages where he is at a high magnification.
Strategy[]
In the first three times you encounter Rathalos, you can easily take him down with the Normal Cats but in his fourth encounter it is recommended to bring units that outrange or work effectively against Floating.
In the final stage, he is at his highest magnification being 350%, giving him 1,050,000 health and 24,640 damage, not counting the Strengthen increase or the Weaken effect from Rathian! Anti-Floating units are practically required to beat the final encounter.
Turn the animation on and off using the switch in the upper left. Clicking the viewer background enables scrolling and zooming with the mouse if on desktop.
