The stronger beast out of the two, just like Rathalos, this "queen" is pretty much a threat in nearly every stage she appears in! Very high health, high damage, average range, 50% Strengthen increase when at 50% health and finally a 50% chance to weaken the players Cat Units.
The 50% damage increase will make this enemy have a total of 14,850! Even the weaken effect of this enemy can be rather deadly as it halves the attack of the players Cat Units essentially making her have 720,000 health, nearly one million!
When paired with Rathalos they are a deadly duo to deal with.
Strategy[]
Just like Rathalos, the first three times you encounter Rathian, you can easily take her down with the Normal Cats but in her fourth encounter it is recommended to bring units that outrange or work effectively against Floating.
In the final stage, she is at her highest magnification being 350%, giving her 1,680,000 health and 34,650 damage, not counting the Strengthen increase or the Weaken effect! Anti-Floating units are practically required to beat the final encounter.
