Redhead Yuki Cat (Rare Cat)

Redhead Yuki Cat is a Rare Cat that is exclusive to the Shoumetsu Toshi Collaboration Event. It is acquired after beating any The Lost World stages. True Form added in the Version 12.3 Update gains the ability to perform Surge Attacks. She was added in version 6.1 and is a variant of Yuki Cat.

Evolution

Evolves into Redhead Lovely Yuki Cat at level 10.

Evolves into Redhead Muscled Yuki Cat when obtained from Redhead Yuki Cat Awakens! (may drop on the first stage but guaranteed on the second) and is at level 20 or above.

Strategy/Usage

Normal/Evolved Form

This unit is a low-quality Psychocat ripoff. In comparison to Neo Psychocat, her advantages are higher movement speed, slightly faster attack rate, 10 frames less recharge time and being able to freeze instead of slow. That's it. Psychocat's more-than-doubled HP and significantly higher proc rate make Redhead Yuki completely outclassed against Aliens, and she is even less useful than Psychocat as a generalist. Not to mention, Corrupted Psychocat eliminates both the speed and attack rate advantages, and these are both Rare Units so she doesn't have any usage within restrictions that Psychocat doesn't. Overall, she should only really be used if you don't yet have Psychocat and are struggling in Into the Future.

True Form

Surge Attacks can increase Yuki Cat's uptime and freeze enemies in the backlines, in addition offering a pseudo-Area Attack at times, but it is inconsistent, especially due to still relying on her middling proc rate and being remarkably fragile.
