Strategies
Since this is usually the first appearance of a metal enemy to many players, using quick-attacking cats (like Giraffe Cat) will make this level a breeze. Metal enemies only take 1 damage from any hit; that's why using quick-attacking cats will make short work of the Metal Hippoe. Spamming Giraffe Cats are a great idea. After that, proceed to destroy the enemy base.
Strategy 2
Cat Line Up: Macho Cat, Wall Cat, Miss MONEKO, Giraffe Cat (For emergencies only)
At the beginning of the battle, spam Macho Cat so they will kill the Those Guys. Keep spamming Macho Cat until the Metal Hippoe appears, and your cats move backwards to avoid Metal Hippoe's range. At this point, spam Macho Cat and Wall Cat, and spawn Miss MONEKO. If you are lucky, Miss MONEKO will trigger a critical hit and one-shot the Metal Hippoe. However, if the Metal Hippoe manages to kill Miss MONEKO, spam Giraffe Cat to kill it, then proceed to destroy the enemy base.
