- Not to be confused with the Worker Cat or the Rich Cat.
Rich Cat III is a Super Rare Cat that can be unlocked by playing the Rare Cat Capsule/Gacha when "Reinforcements Cats" are part of the current pool. True Form added in Version 9.9 loses multi-hit and greatly increases his attack power, along with gaining another Cat Combo.

Strategy/Usage[]
Boasting pathetic stats, excluding his damage, Rich Cat III is mainly used for Cat Combos he activates when he evolves (Itchy Riches and Offshore Accounts). This turns him into a poor man's version of the Rich Cat item, slightly speeding up the progress of the battle. This works very well on cash-tight stages, and can be combined with other similar combos for even greater effect, such as Longnecks and Don't Mess With Me! Additionally, his strangely high attack power and increased money from defeating enemies can be used to kill peons at the beginning of a stage and rack up tons of money. However, Rich Cat III still has pathetic health and low range, so protect him with cheap meatshields if you use this strategy.

Trivia[]
- Rich Cat Sr. is a reference to Bakabon's Papa from Tensai Bakabon. In addition to wearing the same headband and bellyband that Bakabon's Papa is known for, Rich Cat Sr.'s Japanese description states that he is an unemployed father who is a living example of what not to do, which perfectly describes Bakabon's Papa.
- Rich Cat Sr.'s Japanese name is Nekobon's Papa. Nekobon is the Rich Cat's Japanese name, itself a portmanteau of neko (cat) and bonbon (young rich son), but it also serves as yet another allusion to Bakabon's Papa.
- Itchy Riches' Japanese name, Nēēkobonbon, is a reference to the drawn-out "Bāākabonbon" from the anime's opening theme.
- In Evolved and True Form, his knockback sprite resembles Iyami's "sheeh!" pose from Osomatsu-kun.
- Rich Cat III's True Form evolution description initially came with a typo: "True Fom evolution gains greatly improved attack power!"
- NekoSoft is likely to be a reference to the company Microsoft.
- In Richest Cat's Japanese description, "猫川埋蔵金" (Nekogawa Maizōkin) is a reference to the large amount of treasure that the Tokugawa shogunate is believed to have hidden at the end of the Edo period in Japan (徳川埋蔵金, Tokugawa Maizōkin).
