Rover Cat (Rare Cat)

Rover Cat (ネコ探査機, Neko tansa-ki) is a Rare Cat added in the 6.6 Update. This unit is obtainable via the Rare Cat Capsule. True Form increases damage and speed, decreases cost and resists Slow and Weaken.

Cat

Evolves into Rover Cat Mk ll at level 10.

Evolves into Catellite at level 30 using Catfruit.

Pros

• Strong against Aliens.
• Decent health for its cost.
• High DPS for its cost, especially in True Form.
• Immune to Warp (True Form is also immune to Weaken and Slow).
• Quick recharge time.

Cons

• Single-target attacks.
• Health falls behind late-game.
• More expensive than most other meatshields, even in True Form.

Strategy/Usage

A useful meatshield in both Into the Future and Cats of the Cosmos, due to its high strength against Aliens and its immunity to Warp. At high levels, it can tank many hits from even Star Pengs and its attack power allows him to break General GreGory's barrier. Less useful in later Legend Stages, where many Aliens can kill it in only one or two hits.

Functions very well with Research Up Combos, leading to a somewhat reliable defensive unit.

Despite its stats and abilities, it shouldn't be relied on as your only meatshield against strong Alien threats.
