• Runner-Up #2's Japanese name, Dame Nan Desu Ka 2-i, is a reference to "2-i ja dame nande shōka", half of a controversial quote from Japanese politician Renhō Saitō. The full quote roughly meant "Why do we have to be the best in the world? Can't we settle for second place?"
