Strategy/Usage[]
Consider Salon Cat an Area Attack version of Gross Cat. Spam meatshields to protect her from close-ranged pushers whilst stacking as many as possible to create a wall of quick and long ranged units. Can be really effective against enemies like Teacher Bun Bun and even R.Ost if three or more meatshields are in use.
Salon Cat's spammability allows for chipping damage, but high cost prevents her from being very effective for almost all enemies that outrange her (with 350 range or more). Master A. and Angelic Sleipnir are especially poor matchups because of their constant attacks, which can get Salon Cat continually knocked back before she lands even one hit. In these cases, you're advised to use units with even greater range.
Be careful when using Salon Cat with Cat CPU as her high cost and short recharge can drain your funds quickly.
True Form[]
Thanks to an attack buff and weaken immunity, Cyborg Cat has her cost effectiveness increased and becomes more useful against enemies that weaken, like Winged Pigge. The upgrade is relatively minor and unlikely to deserve priority over certain other True Forms, but still an important one nevertheless, as this unit needs the damage to be high in order to justify her cost and stay relevant as the game progresses.
Unless highly leveled, Cyborg Cat starts losing utility around late Stories of Legend due to low health and enemy access to piercing attacks (Waves, Long Distance, Omni Strike and Surges), making similar units like Drama Cats and Cameraman Cat the way to go. She still has a place, however, in 4-Crown difficulty due to her range advantage and lack of alternatives, especially against enemies like R.Ost and Winged Pigge that Cameraman can't even hit.
Talents[]
Cyborg Cat's first Talent gives her a chance (up to 50%) to survive lethal strikes, which greatly increases her cost-effectiveness by allowing her to stay on the field longer, a fantastic prospect for a unit as spammable as a meatshield and with a high cost. Her Defense and Attack Buff Talents will help her stay competitive stat-wise, though they will only be relevant if Cyborg Cat is also properly leveled. Toxic Immunity and Resist Freeze are situational, but they could allow her use against the likes of Gobble and Henry. Such enemies will still expose Cyborg to a quick demise if she's not accompanied by proper support units.
Orb[]
A Talent Orb's boost on a generalist such as Cyborg Cat would be negligible, so saving Orbs for something else is recommended. She could, however, benefit from an Attack Up Orb for Red Enemies or Angels, as midrange attackers for these common traits are rare.

- Evolved Form: Loses the towels. Paris Cat wears a ribbon and a cape, but other than that appears somewhat nude. She has blonde hair with a long fringe and is holding a rose flower. If this does not make you think of France, we do not know what will. Note that this reference is only explicit in the English translation; in the original Japanese it is simply Salon Cat after a fan gave her the nickname "Jeanne".
- True Form: Loses the rose. She is now entirely metal, except for her face. She has longer hair and spiked shoulders.

Trivia[]
- Salon Cat, along with Actress Cat and Geisha Cat, is designed to "combine" with Sexy Legs Cat and his variants to form a full body when they overlap.
- Paris Cat's appearance is most likely based on the heroine of the manga series The Rose of Versailles, Oscar François de Jarjayes.
- More specifically, she may be a reference to the Takarazuka Revue, an all-female Japanese theatre troupe who have done numerous musicals based on The Rose of Versailles. Her nickname of "Jeanne" could be referring to how fans of the troupe often refer to its members as "Takarasienne" (タカラジェンヌ Takarajennu), a portmanteau of Takarazuka and Parisienne; this name is often abbreviated to just "Sienne" (ジェンヌ Jennu), which is spelled and pronounced exactly like "Jeanne" in Japanese.
- Cyborg Cat's appearance is most likely based on Lady Armaroid, a cyborg from the manga series Cobra. They even share the same number of spikes on their shoulder pads.
- In the Spanish translation, Salon Cat and Paris Cat are referred to as "Gata" (feminine), while Cyborg Cat is referred to as "Gato" (masculine).
