Sea Serpent Daliasan (Uber Rare Cat)

Sea Serpent Daliasan is an Uber Rare Cat that can be obtained by playing the Rare Cat Capsule during the Lords of Destruction Dragon Emperors event. It was added in Version 11.6.

Evolution

Evolves into Sea King Daliasan at level 10.

Evolves into God-Emperor Daliasan at level 30 after using Catfruit and XP.

Strategy/Usage

Daliasan has good health, high damage (especially with Savage Blow), and long standing range. Use Daliasan as you would Radiant Aphrodite, as it is an amazing backliner to snipe enemies that otherwise would be protected. The ability to slow Angel and Floating enemies keeps them from pushing forward, improving its attacks and overall support for other units. Colossus Slayer greatly enhances its niche in Gauntlets, especially Mega Menace and Divine Archangel Strikes being Floating- and Angel- focused respectively.

The presence of a blind spot enforces the need to protect Daliasan. Use meatshields or similar to constantly protect Daliasan against closed-ranged enemies that can enter its blind spot.

Appearance

• Normal Form: A floating fishlike dragon, covered in spines, fins, and scales. A Cat's face can be seen on the end of its tail.
• Evolved Form: The majority of its scales have been given a grayish-black hue, and the face on its tail now resembles a Brainwashed Cat.
• True Form: The armor plates are now black and have a volcanic glow at the tips. Its frontal 'horns' are now pointed forward and are also glowing. The cat on its tail is now a Crazed Cat.

Trivia

• The name "Daliasan" is a portmanteau of Darius, a shoot 'em up video game series which features many fish-like enemies, and leviathan, a sea monster mentioned in the Bible. It seems to have been mistranslated, as while ダライアサン can be read as "Daliasan", an equally valid translation is "Dariathan", which makes both of the references more apparent.
• Sea Serpent Daliasan's attack animation is likely a reference to the Dimension Diver, a boss in the game G-Darius.
• Daliasan is the only unit in the game that has a Brainwashed Cat on either side of its body, unlike other units that have Normal Cat/Crazed Cat.
