Sir Metal Seal has medium movement speed, a faster attack rate than Sir Seal, higher attack power and very high health for a Metal enemy (2.75 times that of Super Metal Hippoe). Like all Metal enemies, Sir Metal Seal only takes one damage from all attacks except for Critical Hits, making him incredibly tanky and difficult to neutralize.
Strategy[]
Sir Metal Seal's high health can often allow him to take a beating and push easily. Space Cat works great in earlier encounters because he has decent range and can easily be stacked, but tougher Sir Metal Seals will require more advanced units such as Hurricat, Waitress Cat and Ballet Cat to take down.
As Sir Metal Seal has terrifying stats for a Metal enemy, crowd-controllers such as Puppetmaster Cat, Banner Cat and Showoff Cat are well worth it to help keep Sir Metal Seal from advancing forward, thus buying more time and opportunities for your Critical Hitters to attack. Later in the game, you can also use specialist meatshields like Boulder Cat or Modern Cat to ensure he doesn't immediately destroy your anti-Metal units.
Nearly any Uber or Legend Rare with Critical Hits or anti-Metal abilities is effective against Sir Metal Seal. Tesalan Pasalan is of particular note because his Critical Hit can OHKO Sir Metal Seal, though his Critical chance of 10% (20% in True Form, 30% with maxed Talents) is too low for him to be relied upon as your only Critter in most scenarios.
While Paladin Cat is already good against Sir Metal Seal in his own right, his level 1 Attack Buff Talent gives a level 50 Paladin Cat just enough damage to knockback a 300% Sir Metal Seal with one Crit. Unlock this Talent if you often struggle with Sir Metal Seal in late-game stages, but do not invest more than 1 level into it.
