- Not to be confused with the Item Sniper the Cat.
Sniper the Recruit is a Super Rare Cat that can be unlocked by playing the Rare Cat Capsule when "Reinforcements Cats" are part of the current pool. True Form added in Version 9.9 increases range, decreases time between attacks and gains the slow ability.

Strategy/Usage[]
Sniper the Recruit has a very long-ranged attack. His damage is almost non-existent, but his ability is particularly useful when stacked. He is essentially a free Sniper the Cat, albeit with lower damage. Like Sniper the Cat, he is particularly useful against individual bosses (such as Dober P.D and Relic Bun-Bun). However, you should not use Sniper on levels with many peons, as he will likely miss the boss.
Sniper also works very well with Cyberpunk, as one can delay enemies whilst the other helps to regain ground.
True Form[]
Sniper the Deadeye performs much better with the extra range, the slow ability and faster attacks, but still has the weaknesses of his prior forms. In other words, unlocking this evolution simply makes him even better at what he already does.

Appearance[]
- Normal Form: A cat with some type of mounted sniper rifle standing in a floating device with one propeller on the back and one underneath. The cat also has safety glasses, but never puts them on.
- Evolved Form: Same as Normal Form, but with a bigger gun that looks like a rocket launcher and a second propeller on the back of the device.
- True Form: Looks somewhat sci-fi, with some blue accents and more details in his design as well as getting another propeller.

Trivia[]
- Sniper the Heavy's Japanese name, Negolgo, is a portmanteau of neko, meaning "cat", and Golgo 13, the pro assassin and sniper from the manga of the same name. Using him even activates a Cat Combo named Thirteen.
- Sniper the Deadeye's age of 31 is just 13 reversed. In fact, his Japanese name is Negolgo 31!
- Sniper the Deadeye's description references Craigslist, an online marketplace for goods and services which is infamous for its' questionable reliability.
