Space is the Place (Insane) is the Continuation Stage in Techneurosis: it can be accessed after beating Nuts 'n' Bolts (Expert). This is a No Continues stage.

• When the base reaches 99% HP:
  • 1 Cosmic Cyclone spawns as the boss.
  • 12 Kroxos spawn, delay 10~20 seconds^300f~600f.
  • 3 Imperator Saels spawn, delay 40~60 seconds^{1,200f~1,800f}.
  • 1 Galactic Overseer Nyandam spawns.

Strategy

Even though this stage only requires Into the Future Chapter 1 to be beaten, it is highly recommended to have all Anti-unstarred Alien Treasures from all three chapters before attempting it.

The main threat is the Cosmic Cyclone, so bring Castaway Cat and optionally Psychocat in order to keep it frozen/slowed, and be careful not to knock it back into Galactic Overseer Nyandam's range. Make sure to bring a heavy hitter and at least one cheap attacker in order to deal with the Imperator Saels and Kroxos.

There is not much to it. Just spam Legs, Seafarers and Necro-Dancers to permafreeze Cosmic Cyclone. It might take a while because of Galactic Overseer Nyandam, but it'll be fine.
