Strategy[]

Though the enemy backliners are certainly more dangerous, the Traitless threats comprise the main pushing force, and none of them spawn indefinitely. As such, the objective of this stage is to outlast the onslaught, then pick off the rangers.

Recommended Units[]

  • Bullet Train - With very high speed, the Extra Money ability and good damage, Bullet Train sees great utility. It can instantly kill Gory at level 42+ to dramatically boost income and can also help with chipping down the Dragons or Master A.
  • Stone - Admittedly only usable with research combos, Stone's massive health makes it an excellent line of defense against the Traitless threats for its brief lifetime of ~1.3 seconds, particularly countering Mega Baa Baa by absorbing its three single-target Omni Strikes.
  • Hitman - Hitman is a powerful LD specialist with Massive Damage to traitless. It can wipe out groups of Mega Baa Baas in one well-placed hit while tearing through R.Ost and Rain D. when given the chance. Hitman however does have a few weaknesses, namely its slow attack rate, blindspot, fragility and inability to outrange Rain D. or Master A.
  • Cyberpunk - Cyberpunk retains its value from Draconian with its chip damage at massive range, which is useful at any point in the fight. Though the Dragons' shields block status effects, Cyberpunk can still provide support by slowing the traitless enemies and delaying their advance, being one of the only options able to safely chip them and Master A.
  • Ramen - A tried and true generalist option, Ramen is a rather odd choice avaliable to only endgame players that are expected to have it heavily boosted. Despite none of its abilities working well on this stage, Ramen somehow remains serviceable due to its high stats, and much like Stone, benefits heavily from research combos.

Recommended Ubers[]

  • D'arktanyan - D'arktanyan is an LD rusher with Massive Damage against Traitless, low cooldown for an Uber, great health, very high speed, and 100% strengthen at 60% health. In cheese strategies he's the only option able to get around the Rain D and Mega Baa Baas, whereas for endurance battles he can easily best Hitman in action, able to even snipe Master A.

Strategy 1[]

Lineup: Manic Mohawk Cat 50, Manic Eraser Cat 50, Eraser Cat 20+63, Boulder Cat 50, Hitman Cat 40, Brainwashed Sexy Legs Cat 50+1, Manic Macho Legs 50, Can Can Cat (Money Up, Target Alien, Move Speed Up 10) 50+2, Bullet Train Cat 50, Cyberpunk Cat (Slow 10, Survives 10) 50+1

Cannon: Thunderbolt

Items: Rich Cat, Cat CPU, Sniper the Cat

Notes: It might be better to replace Can Can with a different unit.

Use a Boulder Cat followed by a Bullet Train to get some starting cash from the first Gory. Try to get out a Cyberpunk as soon as possible, but don't let the enemy get too close to your base. As soon as you have built up a small cash reserve, turn on the CPU and wait. It can take a good while to finish the stage.

Be careful when it's time to spawn another Cyberpunk, as the CPU might pause spawning your other cats to get enough cash for it.

Trivia[]

  • Spitting Death's Japanese name, Aku Shoku Toiki (悪色吐息, "Evil-colored Breath"), is a pun: 悪色 aku shoku literally translates to "evil color", but also sounds identical to 悪食, meaning "eating things that are not normally eaten", or "eating forbidden food" in Buddhist contexts.
  • Spitting Death is a Merciless stage in BCJP, but is only Insane in BCEN.
  • Prior to Version 13.0, the enemy base had 1,550,000 HP instead of 2,500,000.
