St. Dober boasts extreme stats and has a 33% chance to create a level 3 Surge Attack that hits units up to 350 range away from him. Unlike most aggressive pusher Angels, he is much slower. His standing range is surprisingly low compared to the original (130 vs 172), but he comes with an Omni Strike attack that reaches up to 200 range, so he seldom misses his attacks. To sum him up, he is a dangerous threat that attacks and supports at the same time, shredding through your meatshields and melee units.
Strategy[]
DO NOT use short-ranged attackers against this heavenly hound, as his Surge Attack will destroy your frontline in no time flat! Instead, use long-ranged attackers like Manic King Dragon. Try using anti-Angelcrowd-controllers as well such as Acrobat Cats, Juliet the Maiko, TalentedSanzo Cat, Momotaro or Kintaro to delay or even paralyze him. When used properly, they may do so even without the assistance of meatshields. After that, it's simply a matter of finishing him as soon as possible with attackers like Mushroom Cat. Should that fail, spending NP to get more Surge-immune units is a viable alternative.
Loyal to the end, he waits patiently by the gates of heaven for his master to arrive. A famous statue of him in mid-Surge Attack is a well-known meeting spot for teenagers.
A dog called to Heaven, waiting for the return of his owner. At the place where he fell, there is a bronze statue of a fine dog, and a mural cut out of a gallant figure creating Intense Waves; it is a popular meeting spot for young people.

Trivia[]
St. Dober's description refers to the story of Hachikō, a Japanese Akita Inu who waited at the train station everyday for his owner even after the latter's death, until he dies of disease as well. Hachikō's loyalty led to his popularization even long after death.
Prior to Version 9.9, his English description mistakenly described his ability as Savage Blows instead of Surge Attacks.
