The Surge Base has double the range of the Doge Base, and creates a devastating level 3 Surge Attack instead of a Wave. It deals at least 96,000 damage per hit in all of its appearances, and can spawn between 150 and 2,000 range; a huge area unfortunately paired and evened out in favor of the base as all created Surges have 125 outward piercing range and 250 inner range. Like other bases, it is immune to all negative effects.
While it does use a laser to telegraph when the surge is about to go off, it is not possible to indicate where will it occur until it spawns. Additionally, the surge base also has to hit a Cat Unit in the front with its single target attack in order to spawn one. Beware the telegraph, as you will have only 15 frames or half a second to prepare before the Surge spawns.
Strategy[]
Because of the Surge Base's extreme damage output, units hit by the attack or Surge will most likely either die or be close to dying. The Surge also acts like a temporary wall that deals heavy damage to units that touch it. This can be avoided by luring enemies close to your base, away from the Surge Base's range. Alternatively, you can use Surge-Immune units such as TalentedBeefcake Cat, Idi:N2, Elder Mask Doron, and Jagando Jr. Just beware that whatever unit struck by the base' initial attack will likely not survive it.
*Note that these are the stats of the Surge Base at 100% strength magnification; it does not appear at magnifications under 80,000% in any stage.
