Adult Cat is a Rare Cat that was added in Version 2.1.1 and can be unlocked when beating any stage in Happy New Year?. This unit is a variant of Bondage Cat with lower health, slower attacks, but greater damage and DPS and an additional knockback. True Form grants significantly increased range and cooldown time, a slightly longer foreswing and the Long Distance ability.

Evolution

Evolves into Sick Cat at level 10.

Evolves into Prisoner Cat when obtained from the Adult Cat Awakes! (may be dropped on the first stage but guaranteed on the second stage) and is level 20 or above.

Strategy/Usage

Normal/Evolved Form

Before True Form, Adult Cat and Sick Cat are basically useless. Even in early-game, other attackers can replace them, and in anything later than early-game, they will only serve to increase your User Rank or Combos.

True Form

Prisoner Cat becomes a powerful ranged attacker, easily able to help deal with threats like Master A. and THE SLOTH. Keep in mind that Prisoner Cat is defenseless if an enemy gets in his decently sized blindspot. He also only has 25 inner range, so enemies who are not properly crowd-controlled can enter provided you have not protected Prisoner well. Try and use good defense coupled with cats that can knock back enemies to keep this from happening. It is important to note that when hypermaxed and stacked, Prisoner Cat is quite useful in 4-crowns Stories of Legend, as this Cats ability to attack from a safe range is incredibly rare and uncommon, especially among almost all Rare and Special Cats.

Additionally, Prisoner Cat's large blindspot allows him to be stacked on stages such as Deathhawk. This makes him one of the best non-Gacha ways to counter Professor A, with a priceless role in stages like Pecking Order, Tiny Meows or Saucy Scandals. However, this usefulness is determined by the amount you are able to stack him, as his lack of survivability and two knockbacks can be his downfall if not kept safe.

Appearance

• Normal Form: A humanoid cat that is tied up, looks very similar to Bondage Cat and is guzzling from a sake bottle. Attacks by throwing said bottle.
• Evolved Form: Still tied up, but now dragging along an IV stand and a heart rate monitor. Attacks by throwing the IV stand.
• True Form: Once more tied up, now in a striped prison inmate uniform complete with ball-and-chain. Holds a shovel and attacks by throwing it. The shovel goes a lot farther than his previous attacks.
