Strategy/Usage[]
Despite its slow ability, Hip Hop Cat's main use lies in delivering almost as much DPS as backliners like Bahamut Cat for a meager 675¢. Against short-ranged enemies such as Nimoy Bore, they can easily stack up and take enemies down very quickly. Treat the slow as a nice bonus that may help against Bore, Shy Boy or One Horn, but don't rely on it; if stalling Reds is your goal, it would generally be more effective to use Witch Cat or iCat. Due to being a stat-based unit, Hip Hop Cat is often worth your Catseye investment, on par with other important units like Crazed Tank Cat.
Think of Hip Hop Cat as a more cost-efficient version of Lesser Demon Cat: they have very high health and damage for their price, but are hampered by short range and single target. It's great as a hard-hitter all throughout the game, and shines even more later on. Get in one good hit, and you'll cripple or outright kill just about any enemy there is. Hip Hop Cat is extremely helpful in dealing with enemies with slow attack rates, such as THE SLOTH, Sunfish Jones and Le'noir, provided that there are no peons or dangerous support in the way.
True Form[]
Can Can Cat only increases stats, increases slow chance and gains a fairly situational ability, Immune to Warp, but on this unit every last point of health and damage counts. Can Can Cat may not be the flashiest Catfruit evolution, but it's certainly one you won't regret unlocking.
Talents[]
Through Talents, Can Can Cat can unlock the Extra Money ability. This ability is considered one of the most important Talents in the game, as Can Can's single target makes it easier to stall peons for extra income. Defense Buff and Attack Buff are undeniably useful, but first it's more efficient to use Catseyes and (+) levels. The Move Speed Up Talent also allows Can Can Cat to more easily "dance" into the blind spots of Long Distance enemies, or tackle further-ranged enemies, as well as those with very long attack animations, putting its great stats into good use. Lastly, the Target Alien Talent is not very practical, due to Can Can's long time between attacks and the existence of Corrupted Psychocat and Seafarer Cat, plus the aforementioned lack of importance of the slow ability, but can still be useful when a slot cannot be spared for those units, such as in VIP Warehouse, or when you're bringing it anyway for the DPS.
Orb[]
Can Can, being a generalist, won’t benefit too heavily from a Talent Orb. However, you can equip a Black Attack Up Orb for higher magnification Doge Darks or a Relic Attack Up Orb for stronger Sir Rels.

Trivia[]
- Hip Hop Cat's Japanese name, Catxile, is a reference to the Japanese boy band EXILE; its walking animation is one of the dance moves associated with their song "Rising Sun" (0:31); and its idle animation is taken from the beginning of "Choo Choo Train" (0:08).
- Hip Hop Cat's English name is inaccurate, as EXILE isn't a hip-hop group.
- Suntan Cat's Japanese description states that he joined the Great Cat War because of his admiration for Hip Hop Cat.
- In The Battle Cats POP!, Dancing Flasher Cat and Gentleman Cat both have their names shortened to Flasher Cat.
- Can Can Cat was among the units that were given Immune to Warp in Version 6.5.
