Rocker Cat is a Rare Cat that can be unlocked by playing the Rare Cat Capsule. True Form added in Version 5.9 increases health and attack power. Talents were added in Version 8.5.

Strategy/Usage

Use Rocker Cat as an extra-durable meatshield to protect your other Cats, especially against Angel enemies. He doesn't work too differently compared to Tank Cat, but he trades cost and spammability for a specialization against a trait and the potential to reach much higher health values. Note that he still won't last long against high DPS enemies, which are prominent among melee angels.

His fast and strong attacks are the icing on the cake, making him effective at clearing annoying peons or to tank, stall and defeat long-ranged area attackers such as Master A., Camelle and Sunfish Jones. Rocker Cat's fast attack rate allows him to also defeat weak Metals such as Metal Hippoe, Metal Doge and Croconator in a reasonable amount of time.

With enough upgrades and Research Combos such as Biohazard and Bony Bone, Rocker Cat can be a very valuable meatshield even in stages with little to no Angels. One of the easiest examples is in Deathhawk, where a sufficiently boosted Rocker Cat can stay long enough to permanently stall the fast hits from Manic Mohawk and Master A.

True Form

Ramen Cat gets a notable health increase and a small damage boost, making him even better than what he's already good at. As such, it is recommended to prioritize this True Form.

Talents

Ramen Cat relies a lot on his basic stats, so Attack Buff, and more importantly, Defense Buff are good Talents to invest in. Knockback resistance drastically improves Ramen Cat's effectiveness against Angelic Sleipnir, stages with Mr. Mole or Trolly Bloggers and in other situations. It is somewhat situational, but worth investing in regardless. Resist Slow is not as useful, as Ramen Cat is already rather slow and there are very few enemies that pose a threat to him through the slow effect. Resist Curse, likewise, is useless for most of the game and only comes into play in late-game stages that combine Relic and Angel enemies such as Rutsborg Vortex, or Angels and the Relic Doge Base.

Orb

Resistance to Angels is the best, followed by Defense Up.
