Strategy/Usage
This cat acts in a very similar way to Swordsman Cat, with short range, but an attacker purpose. He, however, trades off a good attack rate for Area Attack, making him more efficient against groups and a lot less against heavy pushers. Due to his targets and range, his use is limited to a few enemies and situations.
All forms are usable, so change form according to the situation.
Normal Form
Teacher BearCat works well against Long Distance enemies like Henry, but using the money investment for something that is guaranteed to reach the blind spot tends to be a better idea most of the time; besides that, sadly, his range makes his use difficult and limited to almost only strong peons: Kang Roo or Otta-smack-us, and Dolphina, which are pretty rare; despite this, he is still a spammable attacker with almost 14k DPS against White, so he may still help a little in some cases.
Evolved Form
Assassin BearCat can deal with frozen enemies if paired with Bombercat or an alternative, or he can destroy Razorback quickly if stacked. A new problem emerges, however, which is competition, as Pizza Cat, despite costing more, tends to be far better thanks to bulkiness, range, boost from + levels and extra abilities with Talents. Assassin BearCat's near-50k damage is still a lot, however, and could still give this cat some use against Black, perhaps paired with Pizza Cat or against Tackeys. Luckily, Assassin BearCat can still be used as a replacement for Pizza Cat in 4-star Stories of Legends.
True Form
Cadaver BearCat works well at clearing the weaker peons, Zuche, Li'l Zyclone, Coffin Zoge and other Zombies such as Big Sal and Miss Haka. He can potentially deal huge damage to Zamelle, Cadaver Bear and Dread Bore, but only if they are frozen or greatly weakened. For the case of Zory, Zang Roo or Zir Zeal, it will require more timing in order for him to get a hit off. He can counter most of the same enemies as Li'l Flying Cat, except he doesn't outrange some of the stronger peons. He shines in his ability to hit Zombie peons when they're attempting to burrow, or to deliver insane amounts of damage in a single hit. A Li'l Flying Cat at 50+40 has to land three hits to deliver the same damage as a Cadaver BearCat at level 50. He also has twice its DPS and is far less expensive.
