Strategy[]

The biggest challenge in Technocracy is managing one's cash well. Because I.M. Phace spawns so quickly, saving cash early is difficult due to needing to stall him very early on. The solution is to stack long-ranged attackers (such as Dragon/King Dragon Cat and Crazed Dragon Cat) that will live a long time—while also being affordable—to win the stage. A common strategy, though not required, is to use Awakened Bahamut, along with your ranged attackers, to kill I.M. Phace before the J.K Bun Bun, Sleipnirs and Kurosawah reach your front line. The early B.B. Bunnies and Kang Roo are very important for this strategy because they can get you enough money to spawn Awakened Bahamut while simultaneously allowing you to start stacking Dragon Cats (or whatever ranged unit you decide to use). Maglev Cat can be extremely useful for the opening to this level due to its high damage and Extra Money ability, allowing it to easily net you more money faster.

Once I.M. Phace has been dispatched, a lot of the battle becomes a stall-fest – a test of your meatshielding to ensure your stack lives for as long as possible to kill off the J.K Bun Bun and Sleipnirs. There's not much to say about this part of the battle, other than make sure to be aware of your cash at all times, and try to have some on the reserves. Once the Sleipnirs and J.K Bun Bun are dead, all that's left is Kurosawah, who, once dead, will be your last main threat, and the level will be complete.

Trivia[]

  • Like all Axis of Evil stages, Technocracy has a Russian-themed Japanese name. In this case, it is literally Intelligentsia (インテリゲンチャ), the educated class of Russia.
