Strategy[]

Chapter 1[]

Because of the one-row limit, you'll have to place your best cats, usually only having 1-2 meatshields, 1-2 attackers, and a Legend Unit.

Lineup: Crazed Wall Cat, Rover Cat Mk II, Paris Cat, Castaway Cat, Awakened Bahamut Cat.

This lineup is flexible, depending on your True Forms and cats unlocked. Awakened Bahamut can be replaced with Ururun Wolf depending on levels, Seafarer can be traded for Corrupted Psychocat (especially with Talents), and Rover Cat Mk II can be replaced by any other semi-cheap meatshield, though Rover Cat works best because of its Warp Blocker ability.

Battle: At the start of the stage you'll want to stall the beginning enemies with Crazed Wall Cats and Rover Cat Mk IIs. When you save up enough money, send out all your cats except Awakened Bahamut, and keep spamming them until they get to the enemy base. Once they start damaging it, the Maawth and Ursamajor will appear. Use Castaway or Corrupted Psychocat to deal damage and status effects to the Maawth so he can't freeze your units. Send out Awakened Bahamut when you have enough money and are sure that he will do decent damage. After defeating the Maawth, the Ursamajor proves no real threat and can be annihilated quickly.

Chapter 2 / 3[]

Like Chapter 1, because of the one-row limit, you'll have to protect your best cats with 2-3 meatshields, 1-2 attackers, 1-2 DPS/Crowd Controlling units.

Lineup: Crazed Cat or Mohawk Cat (either works), Crazed Wall Cat, Catellite, Castaway Cat.

Use the last slot available for Awakened Bahamut Cat or any other high DPS/Crowd controller units. Like the lineup for Chapter 1, this lineup is flexible depending on the true forms you own. Although Seafarer is much more necessary in this stage because of the high multipliers of the Star Pengs. Bahamut can be replaced with any DPS unit as (at this point) you should have a few usable, high-damaging units to your arsenal.

Battle: At the start of the stage, wait for the Hyppoh to reach the middle of the stage before starting to spam Catellites and Crazed Walls. When the Star Peng approaches, spam all 3 of your meatshields, as well as start spawning Seafarer whenever you can to stack them and potentially create a perma-freeze wall. When the base is hit and the boss comes out, don't worry about the Ribbo as it poses no threat to the stage, instead, focus on getting rid of the S. Pengs while continuing to spam your meatsheilds and Seafarer. Feel free to use A. Bahamut or whatever DPS/Crowd Controller unit you have whenever you can to slowly shred away at the rest of the enemies.

Funnily enough, with the right levels and timings, the 3 meatshields and Seafarer can solo this stage.

Trivia[]

  • A parody unit of MA-08 Big Zam is seen riding the Pegasus White Base, both from the Mobile Suit Gundam series.
  • Thanxbye on the Cats of the Cosmos map looks exactly like Mobile Suit Gundam's Side 3 colony. This is further supported by the stage's Treasure, a Space Colony, and how Thanxbye's Japanese name (マイドムリ Maidomuri) is pronounced similarly to Side 3 in Japanese (サイド・スリー Saido Surī).
  • Thanxbye was called "Thanxabunch" in The Battle Cats POP!
