  • The game is now playable in English if the Nintendo Switch console is set to the English language.
  • The following stages have been nerfed as they were perceived "too difficult":
  • Units + levels now go from +3 to +30.
  • Continues Cat Food cost goes down from 15 Cat Food to 3 Cat Food.
  • Increased rates of Super Rare units in gacha banners.
  • Increase probability of getting Rare Tickets in the minigames.
  • The amount of duplicates that could be obtained from each stage went from 3 to 30.
  • The game no longer punishes you when you change the system clock.

    • Redeeming this code will be downloaded to the console, making it shareable across all Nintendo accounts on the same console.

  • Game released.
  • Kabuto Cat's serial code from the CoroCoro Magazine Monthly January 2019 Issue can now be applied.
  • Cat Bros was available via distribution to celebrate the release of The Battle Cats Unite.
    • The window to unlock said unit was from December 2018 until February 2019.
    • To unlock the unit during this time window, you are required to beat Korea from Empire of Cats.

Trivia[]

  • The Battle Cats Unite JP Version and the SEA Version are treated as separate versions with the SEA Version currently not receiving any updates.
  • Kabuto Cat and Kuwagata Cat are currently the only Switch-Exclusive Cats to be made available for free via login bonus.
  • Version 1.0.6 is the first update to contain new level content (Heavenly Tower) since the release of the game, taking 1,667 days.
  • Despite of the September 15, 2023 Live Download Patch replacing UBERFEST with SUPERFEST, units who were exclusive to the UBERFEST banner still states in their unknown unit description that they are "From Rare Capsule Event UBER FEST."
  • Though Piledriver Cat had its trait target ability changed to target all types, this is no longer the case as of Version 1.0.6 as it does not target Zombies, making its description on the official Unite page inaccurate.
  • Curling Cat has had the widest addition to release gap taking 336 days (or 11 months).
  • Manga Cat has had the widest gap between Switch-exclusive content being 1,247 days after the addition of Mallet Cat and Undies Cat Jr.
  • The game currently totals to about 650 MB with all updates installed, but when broken down:
    • The base game is 302 MB.
    • Version 1.0.4, introducing VS Mode and other minuscule additions, is only 52 MB.
    • Version 1.0.5, which introduced multi-language support and other changes, is only 274 MB.
    • Version 1.0.6, which introduced the Heavenly Tower, Advents, and a myriad of other units, is only 22 MB.
    • Versions 1.0.1, 1.0.2, 1.0.3, 1.0.7, and 1.0.8 are in kilobytes.
