Chapter 3[]

Strategy[]

In all of Cat God's appearences, it is necessary to max out the Mystery Mask treasure (Treasures from Broton, N77 Nebula and Black Hole) as without these Treasures, he will be buffed to 1,100%, making him impossible to handle reasonably. Since there are also a lot of Starred Aliens, it is recommended to collect all Anti-Starred Alien Treasures as well as bringing as many Anti-Alien Cats as possible.

Chapter 1[]

Since The Cat God is a Floating enemy this time, use as many Anti-Floating Cats as you can to chip the boss in between his attacks and alien peon waves until he is defeated.

Strategy 1[]

Lineup: Any 2-slot Attack UP Cat Combo, Mohawk Cat, Gold Cat, Catellite, or more alternative 75¢ meatshields, Awakened Bahamut Cat, Fishman Cat, Seafarer Cat, Chill Cat. Courier Cat can replace Chill Cat, Fishman Cat, as well as the need for an Attack Up combo if at a high level. Fill your last slot with whatever may help you in parts you may feel less secure about.

Mohawk and Gold have a Combo, but it is not necessary, and usually you can replace them with superior ones.

Note: You need all Mystery Mask treasures, all ItF Anti-unstarred Alien Treasures and all Anti-Starred Alien Treasures from this first CotC chapter, as well as level 30+ units. The Sky Fruit from ItF is also very important.

Battle: Start with Fishman or Courier, it will die easily, but Cat God will be baited into attacking, which will slow him down a bit. Once the first wave is close, spam the meatshields + attackers and let them kill the aliens, then stop summoning stuff and wait. Let a Fishman or Courier reach the boss with the units who killed the aliens; if you are lucky, it may survive. The next step is to summon Bahamut once The Cat God is done attacking, as well as another Fishman or Courier; the goal is to deliver high DPS and knock back the boss up to 3 times. Repeat the process for the second and third waves, but use Bahamut to finish off Project A and Le' Solar. After that, the only dangerous enemies are just Shibalien Elites and Star Pengs. Use the interval between waves to finally finish off Cat God.

A tip for maximising Bahamut's damage is to be extremely patient when firing the Cat Cannon. If Cat God gets knocked back and instantly starts an attack animation (which will likely happen the first time you send out Bahamut), Bahamut would normally get one more multihit off, then die. With extremely tight Cat Cannon timings (should be around when Cat God's hand stops rising), you can get Bahamut to do one hit, Cat Cannon to interrupt Cat God, then a second multihit. It's fine if Cat Cannon makes Bahamut miss the second and third hit in the multihit as majority of Bahamut's damage comes from the first hit.

Chapter 2[]

Strategy 1[]

Lineup: Manic Eraser cat 40, Catellite 40+8, Biohazard , Bony Bone, Fishman Cat 40, Can can cat 40, Courier Cat 40, Seafarer cat 30, A. Bahamut 30,

Cannon: Breakerblast

Items: Rich cat (optional), Sniper the cat (required)

Note: Sniper the cat is meant to reset the attack of Cat God (Cool Dude). You must have the mystery mask treasures max. Fishman cat and seafarer can be replaced by other good DPS attacker or an Uber rare

Battle: At the start of the battle don’t spawn anything until Kid Tappa spawns. When he reaches halfway to the base start sending Fishman, Can can, Seafarer, catellite and manic eraser. Consistently spam catellite and manic eraser for the entire battle. When star peng reaches your frontline spam courier. After Star Peng and Kid Tappa dies spam fishman, can can, catellite, manic eraser and courier for the rest of the battle. When Ribbo is in the frontline fire the cat cannon, make sure to not use the cat cannon for any other purpose than breaking Ribbo’s barrier. Once the alien support weakens send A. bahamut and continue spamming everything. After a while cat god will die and you can destroy the base. If cat god somehow gets an attack of then continue spamming everything until you win!

Strategy 2 (Post-SOL)[]

Lineup: 3 Slots for Research Combos, Manic Eraser Cat (30), Catellite (40), Seafarer Cat (40), Fishman Cat (40), Courier Cat (50), Can Can Cat (40, movement speed max, double bounty), Awakened Bahamut Cat (40)

Note: Mystery Mask and most anti-starred alien treasures should be maxxed. Cannon used was Breakerblast.

Battle: Upgrade your worker cat to Level 2/3 and wait until Kid Tappa spawns. Once they get halfway, start spamming everything except Courier, Bahamut, and the combo units. Once Kid Tappa dies, you can start adding Courier to the spam. Keep spamming all these units and you shouldn't lose. Don't use the CatCannon unless Kid Tappas start stacking up or a Ribbo approaches. Summon Awakened Bahamut when there's a break in the aliens, and you'll win.

Strategy 3:[]

Lineup: Attack Up Combo (optional), 2 or 3 meatshields, Courier Cat (40), any low cost attacker like Paris Cat or Dragon Cat, Awakened Bahamut Cat (30).

Note: Breakerblast was used as the Cannon. It can be replaced by any cheap Barrier Breaker, but Breakerblast is still greatly preferred.

Battle: Wait until Kid Tappa is close to your base. Then, spam all your meatshields, Courier, and your low cost attacker. If you're getting low on money, prioritise Courier and your meatshields. Use Breakerblast as soon as possible to break Kid Tappa's shield. Once the two Shibalien Elites and the Kid Tappa is dead, send in Awakened Bahamut. From now on, never stop sending Courier Cats.

Awakened Bahamut and the Courier Cats should knockback Cat God once. They should then kill Star Peng, and in the process, Awakened Bahamut should get knocked back due to Star Peng's damage, though this isn't strictly necessary. This is the biggest part: Ribbo must hit your Awakened Bahamut and a few Courier Cats, and warp them, saving them from Cat God's big attack. If Ribbo attacks too early or too late, or if your Awakened Bahamut gets out of its range, you might need to try sending Awakened Bahamut slightly earlier or slightly later, or to send out less meatshields or use slower meatshields if they are stopping Star Peng from advacing enough. Alternatively, you may need to use Cat Cannon Recharge or Star Level combos to defeat the first wave faster.

I've had a few runs where with enough meatshielding to hold Star Peng back, I knocked back Cat God before it attacks without Ribbo needing to attack. I can't do it consistently, but you could try using Crazed Wall to attempt this if you're struggling.

Awakened Bahamut and the Couriers should kill the next Kid Tappa. Then, fire the Breakerblast to hit both Ribbo and Cat God. Cat God should get knocked back once more, Courier should kill Ribbo, then Cat God should get killed before the next wave of peons come.

Without Cat God, the remaining peons are easy to deal with. You can use Ururun Cat at Lv30 to barely break Kid Tappa's barrier.

Chapter 3[]

Strategy 1[]

Lineup: The first three slots for research Up combos e.g Biohazard + Bony Bone or Bad Guys, Catellite 39+, Seafarer Cat 30, Chill Cat 40+7, Macho Leg Cat 20+64, last three slots can be another combo and/or Ubers

Note: Mystery Mask Treasure from chapter 3 must be at max and all Anti-Starred Alien treasures from all chapters. Having all Enigma Fruit Treasures from all chapters makes this stage easier. Cost down talent on chill cat can really help with spamming but isn't required.

Battle: Start by getting your wallet to level 4 then once Kid Tappa arrives, spawn all your attackers while spamming Catellite to meatshield. You’ll want to spam Catellite for the rest of the battle. Once Kid Tappa dies, spam all your non-combo units and they should easily start to kill all the peons. Don't worry about Cat God's warp wave as Catellite is immune to warp and should keep the peons away from the base. The Mesocosmocyclones that appear later shouldn't be a problem at all and should be easily killed by your Chill Cats. Once all peons are dead, Cat God is an easy kill, but don't forget to keep spamming Catellite because of the GreGories that spawn when the base gets damaged. They might push a little, but should die with the help of Seafarer freezing them. Go destroy the base and well done, you have completed CotC!

Trivia[]

  • The Big Bang has its own exclusive music. So far, it can only be heard here, in the Eldritch Forces Invasion, on Aku Realms Moon or in Ape Lord's Revenge.
  • The background for this stage is the same as the one used in Black Hole, but altered to more closely resemble a scorched field of nothingness.
    • The enemy base is also similar to Black Hole's, except that the tree has opened up and formed a portal.
  • Excluding The Aku Realms and Zombie Outbreaks, The Big Bang is the only stage of the Main Chapters in which The Cat God cannot be used.
  • Prior to version 11.5, the first group of Zoges in Ch.1's Zombie Outbreak was set to spawn between 3.33 and 0.07 seconds instead of just 3.33 seconds. It didn't work properly because the maximum times were lower than the minimum, so in practice nothing changed.
  • In The Battle Cats POP!, since aliens are absent in this game, the first two bosses are J.K Bun Bun and Bun Bun Black. After defeating those two bosses and dealing some base damage, Ururun Wolf appears as the final boss.
