Strategy[]

This stage can be cheesed easily with the right cats (e.g. Freshman Cat Jobs, Mighty Bomburr, or Healer), even in 3 crowns, but it is very hard otherwise, as you don't just need to deal with Sal but also with 4 Camelles. Metal Macho is very useful for the Camelle part, as it can keep him perfectly stalled just in time for the next one, even in 3 crown. Otherwise, one or two decent health meatshields or Jiangshi Cat can stall each Camelle just fine. Use tanky damage dealers like Jamiera Cat and his manic variant to chip each Camelle slowly and finish the stage. For the part with Big Sal, there are many possible strategies:

  • Using anti-Zombie Crowd controllers to prevent Big Sal from being able to hit the base. Just make sure that they do not damage the enemy base enough to bring out a Camelle.
  • Using Professor Cat Jobs, you can weaken Big Sal to the point that he does only 2400 damage to the base, giving you plenty of time to kill him. Zombie Killers should be used to prevent Big Sal reviving and Cat Jobs walking past him. Do note that even with the Antimatter Fruit treasure maxed out, Cat Jobs will not be able to permaweaken Big Sal, meaning that there is a tiny window of opportunity for him to one hit your base. This can be prevented by bringing along a Weaken Effect Up (M) combo and a Weaken Effect Up (Sm).
  • Using Kubilan Pasalan, Piledriver Cat, or Mighty Bomburr, you can constantly knock the boss back, especially with the help of KB up combos, so all you have to do is wait for Sal to be super close to the base, summon your chosen unit and watch as they keep the boss away from the base. You may also want to accompany these with Backliner Zombie Killers such as Mighty Rekon Korps to speed up the process.
    • For Bomburr, spawn him alone and watch as he makes Big Sal unable to do anything. His attack rate and Big Sal's slow movement speed allows it to keep him in a constant Knockback loop until he eventually dies, and he will dispatch Big Sal quickly enough.
    • With Piledriver, add Polevaulter Cats (don't use her true form due to increased speed) and maybe add some Zombie Killer Ubers with slow speed and long range, so they don't get too close.
    • With Kubilan, you have to use Ubers such as Mighty Rekon Korps or Mighty Drednot to take down the boss, due to Kubilan's long time between attacks.
  • Using Healer and Combos, perma-freeze the boss at the base and kill it with multiple Li'l Flying Cats or other powerful Zombie Killer cats.

After killing Sal, lure out a Camelle, lure him closer to your base to kill him, and repeat for each. Killing Camelle can be done with Awakened Bahamut Cat, tankers like Jamiera Cat/Manic Jamiera Cat or tanky and damaging spammable units, like Ramen Cat or Shigong Cat.

Strategy 1[]

Lineup: Legs for Days, Gross!!!, Pumpkinpants, Weedwacker Cat, Awakened Bahamut Cat, Ramen Cat

Items: Rich Cat, Sniper the Cat

The goal is to keep Big Sal frozen long enough to kill him before he completes his attack animation, then use Ramen to take down Camelle.

Start by saving up money and let Sal reach your base. Now, summon Weedwacker and anything else that can freeze Zombies (make sure they are all Zombie Killers too) and hope that they do so. Either way, when Sal is about to finish his attack, use the cannon or Sniper the Cat to interrupt him, so your units may try again. With some luck, Sal will stay frozen and eventually die.

Once Sal is dead, your Weedwackers will advance towards the enemy base and die to Camelle when he comes out. At this point, spam your Ramens. If they can survive 2 hits from Camelle they can permanently stall him if spammed. They won't be able to deal too much damage to Camelle, so you can spawn Awakened Bahamut or other rushers/super-backliners to speed up his death. Once the first Camelle is dead your units should rush to the base and die to the second one: stop spawning Ramen so he can advance past the base, then just rinse and repeat what you did to the first Camelle for each of the remaining ones.

Strategy 2 (4 Crowns)[]

Keep sending out Weedwacker and Cadaver until Big Sal is dead. Let your anti-zombies hit the enemy base, and then lure Camelle a bit closer to your own base before sending out Doguemon accompanied by Couriers. Repeat for the other three Camelles. If Doguemon goes down or isn't available when a Camelle approaches your base, use Ramen as a backup meatshield.

Take care to let each of the Camelles approach your base a little, so you don't accidentally end up fighting several of them at once.
