The Red Malice is tanky, moves quickly, has a very fast attack rate and causes knockback on hit. However, he still has 10 knockbacks and lower range which makes it easier for your units to hold him back if you can whittle his health quickly.
Strategy[]
Use powerful, long-ranged cats like Crazed Bahamut Cat, Paris Cat, Dragon Cat, or Luxury Bath Cat. His knockback ability is a double-edged sword, as while it helps him to push, the fact that it disables hitboxes for a few frames mean other enemies can miss, so knockback immunetankers may not be the best idea. Unless he is weakened or frozen, it also isn’t recommended to use rushers such as Yukimura or Awakened Bahamut Cat against him, as his damage is usually sufficient to knock them back with each hit, and his fast attack rate will likely prevent them from ever hitting him, even without support.

Trivia[]
It's unclear whether "The Red Malice" refers to the main steroid-bear or to the group as a whole.
His hair may be a reference to Gajeel from the anime and manga Fairy Tail.
He might be based on Akakabuto, the main antagonist from Ginga Nagareboshi Gin, as they both are large bears with a red mane, have two young cubs and both are missing their right eye.
The cubs look similar to Teacher BearCat, but with slightly thinner arms and larger feet.
