Battle Cats Wiki

Truth in Extremes (対極にある真実, Taikyoku ni Aru Shinjitsu, Truth in Polarity) is the 7th sub-chapter of Zero Legends, and the 105th sub-chapter overall. It was introduced in Version 12.7 and is available up to 1♛ difficulty.

A very interesting sub-chapter in terms of difficulty, as all of the even stages have nearly the same contents as their predecessor. The first two stages are pretty straightforward and can be won with relative ease. The next two are harder and might cause some trouble, while the last two are going to be pretty difficult and will require a decent strategy to be done.

New Features[]

This sub-chapter introduces five enemies to Zero Legends:

  • Le'mammoth: A very tanky event variant of Le'boin that deals heavy damage, moves faster and has 100% chance to generate a level 3 Wave Attack.
  • Cosmic Cyclone: An Alien/Floating enemy with above-average range, lots of health and high DPS. It has a 10% chance to weaken units for 10 seconds and strengthens by 200% at 30% health.
  • Mini Angel Cyclone: A smaller but extremely fast variant of Divine Cyclone that deals relatively low damage for a Cyclone but has a 25% chance to generate a level 1 Mini-Surge; considering her crazy fast attack rate, this will result in the area in front of her being constantly flooded with Mini-Surges. Her health is fairly high, but more so is her amount of knockbacks, which will make her hard to hit for slow attackers, but easy to fend off.
  • King Wahwah: The Advent Boss of King Wahwah's Revenge, this Traitless enemy does moderate damage split into three evenly spaced multi-hits, each of which cause knockback. He stands at 600, but his Omni Strike hits up to 1000. Though he has a million health, he is relatively slow and has a whopping 25 knockbacks, so he's easy to ward off if you're able to get to him.
  • Puffsley's Comet: The Advent Boss of Puffer Planet is a souped-up Alien version of Mr. Puffington. He has below-average health for an Advent Boss, but does extreme damage and, despite standing at 200 range, his Omni Strikes hit up to 500. He sits still for a while after each attack, but will immediately attack again if knocked back, punishing an overaggressive approach.

  • Every even-numbered stage is a copy of the stage before it, except the main threat is different.
  • The Japanese names of Furious Field and Mirage Meadow are puns. Both have the word kyozō in their names, but written with different kanji to form different meanings. Furious Field spells kyozō as 巨象, meaning "giant elephant", whereas Mirage Meadow uses 虚像, referring to a virtual image.
  • Crag of Monte Cristo and Beast of Monte Cristo are references to the novel The Count of Monte Cristo.
  • Puffsley's Comet and Mr. Puffington are in Misfortune in Sand for the sake of a pun that was lost in translation. In Japanese, the stage's name is Sareki o Gyūjiru Fugū na Mono (砂礫を牛耳る不遇な者, "The Unfortunate One Ruling Over Pebbles"); the joke is that 不遇 fugū (misfortune) sounds almost like 河豚 fugu (pufferfish).
