Uberfest (超ネコ祭 Chō neko-sai, Ultra Cat Festival) is one of the Gacha events in The Battle Cats. It was added in Version 3.6. This event includes all Uber Rares from every common pool and from Version 5.0 onwards, an exclusive character. The second exclusive cat was added in Version 5.8, the third was added in Version 6.7, the fourth was added in Version 9.2, the fifth was added in Version 10.1, the sixth was added in Version 11.1, and the seventh added in Version 12.0.

In The Battle Cats Unite, this banner can be unlocked when clearing The Big Bang in the SEA Version. It is available on the weekends only based on the system's clock.

Information on Gacha Chances[]

  • The drop rate for Uber Rares, Super Rares and Rares are 9%, 26% and 65%, respectively.
  • Some Rares will turn into Super Rares in this event.
  • Some Super Rares will turn into Uber Rares.

Below is a comparison showing percentages of getting certain numbers of Ubers for 11-draws in UBERFEST, a guaranteed 11-draw in a normal pool and a normal 5% Uber drop rate pool without a guaranteed Uber.

This shows that:

  • UBERFEST is more likely to yield 4 to 11 Ubers.
  • 11-draw guarantee with 5% Uber chance is far more likely to yield 1 to 3 Ubers.
  • UBERFEST has more than a third chance to yield nothing.

Furthermore, the expected value for the number of Ubers rolled in an 11-draw can be calculated for each case:

  • UBERFEST: 0.99 Ubers.
  • Guaranteed 11-draw with 5% Uber chance: 1.5 Ubers.
  • 5% Uber Chance without guaranteed Uber: 0.55 Ubers.

Therefore, spending Catfood on guaranteed 11-draws yields more Ubers than using them for 11-draws in UBERFEST. However, it is still a good idea to use Rare Tickets in this pool because they cannot be utilized for guaranteed 11-draws. Due to the higher Uber drop rate, using Rare Tickets on UBERFEST (alternatively, EPICFEST and SUPERFEST) obtains more Ubers.

Note that this maximizes the total number of Ubers obtained. If the objective is purely to pull a specific Uber, it is far more likely to get the desired Uber from the pool that the Uber is in. This is because despite the higher Uber drop rate, the number of Ubers is significantly larger in UBERFEST. To compare, the probability of pulling a specific Uber in UBERFEST from a single roll is 0.09% (with 100 Ubers in UBERFEST as of Version 12.5) while the probability in a usual pool is 0.5% (for a set with 10 Ubers having 5% Uber chance).

Trivia[]

  • In The Battle Cats Unite, it is the first banner to be outright removed in the game via an update and is replaced with a different one, in this case it is replaced with SUPERFEST in the JP Version.
  • Curiously, the first forms of the exclusive units in this banner (Except for Izanagi) seem to be younger than their evolved forms. Unlike the EPICFEST units, who seem to be adults in both forms.
