Hello fellow Battle Caters. I have beaten the new SoL chapter, and I have decided to rate the difficulties of them, and give you summaries. I'm basically the trailblazer.
Here's how difficulties work:
1: Don't need a strategy. Super easy. Ex: Earthshaker
2: Very easy, but not the peak of easy. Ex: Catharsis' End
3: Easy level, but still requires a strategy.
4: Fairly easy.
5: Moderate.
6: Also moderate, but more leaning towards the hard side.
7: Hard without a proper strategy.
8: Not too many working strategies. Very hard.
9: Extremely hard level. Very few good strategies. Satan's Bedroom
10: The peak of challenging. Saint Red Fox
So let's get started.
Stage 1: Sunset's Howl Difficulty: 7
Triple Berserkory. I had a rough time with it without a Rich Cat or anti-red Ubers.
Stage 2: Gestalt, Decay Difficulty: 7
I did not find this stage too challenging. I had Akira, Vars, and Heartful Nurse to destroy stuff. It must be very hard without anti black/alien Ubers.
Stage 3: Warrior's Dawn Difficulty: 6
Remember Chapter 3 Moon? Multiply strength magnifications by 7 and you get this. Its really not too challenging.
Stage 4: Cursed Blizzards Difficulty: 5
This stage looks easy. However, note that you must win in under 3 minutes. If you don't, well... There's an image on the page. It helps to use high DPS units.
Stage 5: Sign of the Cat Difficulty: 4
It wasn't too hard for me, and I didn't use Catdam. Probably easier with him. I brought it down because of that.
Stage 6: Out of Despair Difficulty: 1
Ah, yes. Just a few Capies. Once you stack Crazed Whale and Island, you'll just tear through it.
Stage 7: Metabolic Syndrome Difficulty: 4
The three Great Abyss bosses. I didn't find this stage too hard (Ubers), but it'll probably be much harder without them.
Stage 8: Love and Death Difficulty: 6
Final stage. There's no true boss. Just Mr. Moles and Bores. When they get stacked, it gets really annoying.
