This strategy makes use of the fact that A. Bahamut can knockback the Bun Buns with every attack. Upgrade your worker cat once, then wait for the Bun Buns to begin attacking the base, then send out Bomber followed by Bahamut. This should trap the Bun Buns in an infinite loop of being frozen, knocked back, then frozen again. Be ready to fire the cat cannon after the Bun Bun's seventh knockback, as that's roughly when the Assassin Bears will spawn. Even if they kill Bahamut, the Bun Buns should have very little health left.
