Vengeful Cat (Rare Cat)

Vengeful Cat is a Rare Cat that was added in Version 2.3.1 and can be unlocked when beating any stage in Ghostly Houseguests. True Form added in Version 5.2 increases her attack power and recharge time and gives her the long distance ability. In The Battle Cats POP!, she is unlocked when rolling in the gacha system after clearing Stage 48 in Chapter 2.

Evolution

Evolves into Groucho Cat at level 10.

Evolves into Kite Cat when obtained from the Vengeance Awakes! (may be dropped on the first stage but guaranteed on the second stage) and is level 20 or above.

Strategy/Usage

This Cat is used in many great combos, notably in Horror Movies and Kimono Champs. Besides this, there is little reason to use her, even in 4♛ stages, as her poor damage and cost efficiency are huge problems that make all her forms terrible in any part of the game. Prisoner Cat and Crimson Mina are far better Long Distance attackers, so you should avoid using Kite Cat if you have them.

Appearance

• Normal Form: A female ghost wearing a kimono and a hitaikakushi. Attacks with a wound up slap.
• Evolved Form: A Cat sitting on a cloud, holding a fishing rod with a Groucho Marx mask on a hook. Attacks with a lightning bolt coming out of the cloud.
• True Form: A Cat now flying (and attacking with) a kite that has a menacing expression. Gets swung by the Cat and falls to the ground to attack.

• Her Japanese name (Urameshi nyan) is taken from phrase "urameshiya" that is generally used to act like envious emotion by ghosts, towards humans.
• The Evolved Form's appearance and name are a direct reference to Groucho Marx, one of the Marx Brothers, a popular family comedy act.
• This character is a variant of Actress Cat, so she can combine with Sexy Legs Cat and its variants (Skirt Cat, Panties Cat,...) to look like a whole Cat.
  • This is also the case with the Groucho Cat, who gives the Sexy Legs variant below it a pair of groucho glasses.
• Groucho Cat looks like Fishin' Boo, an enemy from Super Mario World.
• She is one of the few Zombie Killer Cats who don't possess any Anti-Zombie abilities.
