Strategy[]

The key to beating this stage is to always have at least one expensive backliner unit ready to deploy. If you were to send them all out around the same time and one of them goes down, you can safely assume that the rest will soon follow suit, leaving you defenseless and thus causing you to lose ground (unless if you have a good stack of Cyberpunk Cats)—having a heavy attacker off cooldown whenever possible somewhat alleviates this problem.

Like in the original stage, Sniper the Cat and Cat CPU are highly recommended for most approaches. Sniper provides much-needed knockback to Manic Eraser and CPU can prevent the onset of RSI. The use of at least 4 meatshields is advised, and mandatory if the player's cat levels are not high enough. Be prepared with other bulky attackers, as a Gory Black triad will spawn a little after starting the level. Having Ururun makes the start a lot easier, as she can keep the Gories on a constant cycle of knockback IFshe is level 30, otherwise, she'll be a bit short on damage. Despite Capy's appearance in this stage, Courier Cat is not a good choice here due to his low range and very suicidal tendency; he'll only get a single hit off on Capy or none at all before dying. Be aware of the other strong peons supporting Manic Eraser Cat, and try to hold off on triggering the base until after killing the Owlbrow trio, this will give the player enough money to have a better chance at taking on Manic Eraser and co. Manic Eraser is the only enemy that spawns upon hitting the base, so optimally you should stall to kill the first starting Capies.

Recommended Units[]

  • Pizza Cat - Very powerful midranger against the Gory Blacks, a bulky attacker and is quite cost efficient for what you get.
  • Cyberpunk Cat - An extremely long ranged Crowd-Controller, his main role is to slow the peons and Manic Eraser, preventing all of them from pushing too far.
  • Sniper the Recruit - Similar to Cyberpunk, but much better suited against Manic Eraser and less against the peons. The true form grants more range for better safety and the ability to Slow which stalls Manic Eraser even further.
  • Dragon Cat/Crazed Lizard Cat - Because of Manic Eraser's high range, these two are good choices since they stack up and deal gradual damage to Manic Eraser over time, along with being able to deal with peons nicely.

Recommended Ubers[]

  • Tesalan/Lufalan Pasalan - It can outrange all enemies here, and its very high damage combined with critical hits can speed up the endurance battle dramatically. However, be wary of peons due to its single-target attacks. The True Form has improved range, making it helpful to have in case the enemies push, as well as greater overall damage from the higher critical chance.
  • Diabolic Gao - Has decent DPS for general use, good range but most importantly a 1-second freeze and massive damage to Traitless enemies.
  • Super Galaxy Cosmo - Has extreme range and can knockback the Owlbrows, able to catch essentially everything on the stage. Has a very slow attack rate, but given the nature of the stage's threats, it's usually negligible. You'll just have to make sure not to use the Cat Cannon when he's not attacking as he might suicidally rush into Manic Eraser's range.
  • Aphrodite/Sea Serpent Daliasan/Lucifer - Aphrodite is often used simply due to her impressive coverage via Long Distance, able to hit targets 850 range from her and is actually more consistent than Cosmo or even certain other LD units in some regard. As the base has less health than the boss, it is entirely possible for LD attackers to nuke the base without defeating Manic Eraser. Daliasan has similar usage, trading some range for higher DPS due to having Savage Blows. Lucifer, another LD attacker with even higher range than Daliasan. He has strong against floating which can help deal with the Owlbrows, which can be somewhat annoying. His surge can also deal some serious damage to Manic Eraser if spawned at the right place in the right time.
  • King of Destiny, Phonoa/King of Extinction Phono- both having over 500 range, King of Destiny Phonoa does massive damage to anything that has a trait and can hit up to 1000 range while King of Extinction Phono slow anything for 2 seconds and can hit up to 900 range, usually hitting the base. This amount of piercing allows it to easily destroy the enemy base long before Manic Eraser itself.
  • Pai Pai DX: A really strong Uber for this stage, she can chip the boss without issue, and it can massively help with the Capies, 3 shotting them. She also can tank a Manic Eraser hit and survive. With proper meatshielding, she can be a great ranged attacker.

Strategy 1[]

Lineup: Crazed Macho Cat, Crazed Wall Cat, Mohawk Cat, Eraser Cat, Samba Cat, Bombercat, Crazed Sexy Legs Cat 20+, Crazed Bahamut Cat, Ururun Cat 23+

Items: Rich Cat, Sniper the Cat, Cat CPU and Speed Up

Notes:

  • Cat CPU is the only required item.
  • The meatshields listed are examples, you can swap them with other meatshields.
  • Bomber can be replaced with Ring Girl Cat.
  • The last slot is to be used for something else with over 450 range, such as an Uber or Cyberpunk Cat.

Start the battle off by stalling the peons, waiting for all Gories to stack and then sending out either your anti-Black or Ururun Cat. Sending out a heavy-hitting anti-Black unit such as Ring Girl Cat makes it easier to kill these Gories and allows you to spend more time gaining money. The main plan is to NOT hit the base until the two Capies come out, essentially allowing for the player to summon two Ururuns and two Bahamuts on the field. Summon some Crazed Sexy Legs and keep walling; once Owlbrows appear, you may summon a Bahamut. Now once the first two Capies come, summon your first Bahamut and stall, it should be able to kill the Owlbrows. With this you should have a level 8 Worker Cat and a half-full wallet. Summon your final long-ranged attacker when ONE of the Capies dies, then wait for your wallet to reach max money while constantly spamming meatshields. Once the second Capy dies, turn on the Cat CPU and Speed Up (if you brought both of them) as Manic Eraser is going to take awhile to defeat.

Strategy 2[]

Lineup: Mohawk Cat, Eraser Cat, Manic Mohawk Cat, Crazed Tank Cat, Gato Amigo, Catburger, Ring Girl Cat 19, Cyberpunk Cat, Crazed Bahamut Cat 30, Ururun Cat 30

Notes:

  • The meatshields are interchangable.
  • The meatshields' levels don't matter, as Manic Eraser will kill them in one hit and they mostly act as filler to stop enemies from pushing.
  • Items recommended are as follow:CPU (spams meatshields, recommended), Rich Cat (helps in startoff, recommended especially if using backliners over Weightlifter), Sniper the Cat (to KB Manic Eraser, recommended, but watch out for when its pinned against the base).
  • It is still recommended to True Form Weightlifter and collect all Void Fruits from ITF for more consistency against Gory Blacks, as it does way more damage, from 45k to 60k.

Upgrade your wallet to level 3 if you are not using Rich Cat at the start of the battle, but disable Cat CPU and Sniper for now. Once the Gory Blacks approach, spawn meatshields and Ring Girl (if you choose to use it) to tackle them, as well as Ururun. When they are gone, spawn Cyberpunk, but do not spawn Bahamut yet. Keep upgrading your wallet as you wait for Capy to spawn. Ururun will kill the Owlbrows. Once your wallet is at level 8, you can then safely hit the base. If you have a Cat CPU you can choose to turn it on immediately, and Sniper should be kept active beyond this point, unless Manic Eraser is pushed against his base, which will make your units move forward and him just slamming them to death. Alternatively, if you do not want Bahamut to be spawned too early and prefer to have him in case Ururun is destroyed, you can hold off and meatshield manually. Ring Girl won't drain too much of your cash, but you should keep your CPU off occasionally to manually manage your money.

If all goes well, Cyberpunk and Sniper will prevent Manic Eraser from advancing too much while your attackers demolish everything. Even so, the battle could potentially last upwards of 10 minutes.
