Strategy/Usage
First, note that this cat has no generalist value whatsoever, except for the very beginning of the game, where about every unit can be worked with. For this reason, only use him against Zombies.
This cat can be very helpful against Miss Haka, Zyclone and Big Sal due to being able to knockback other Zombies out of their burrow animation, if this is a good or bad thing is dependant on the situation your in. Although, with the nature of his ability and low stats, he shouldn't be relied on as your first choice against Zombies.
True Form
Ectoweight Cat gains doubled health and 30 more range. The doubled health would improve his survivability by a large margin, if his knockback count also increased. As it stands, the improved health still doesn't really increase his survivability against burrowing zombies, as they he will at least have to be knockbacked two times before he is out of the Zombie's range. Therefore, the health improvement is only good for generalist qualities (which it almost has none of) and Ectoweight getting an extra few seconds to knockback a burrowing zombie before getting knockbacked himself.
The range improvement barely means anything, it doesn't allow him to outrange anymore Zombies he couldn't and doesn't really put him at that much of a safer distance either. Overall, mediocre True Form at best, other anti-Zombie units would be worth investing in first.
Talents
Ectoweight's Talents allow him to target Alien enemies, which unfortunately is not a very good thing, as Aliens have an overabundance of backliners. Thus; it is a worthless improvement, and the attack and health up Talents do very little, as Ectoweight lacks in those stats too.
