Whipped into Shape (Expert) is the first stage in The Dom Awakens!.
Battleground
After around 10 seconds, the first Doge Dark will spawn, followed by Shadow Boxer K.
Once the enemy base takes some damage, the main threat Dark Lazer appears. Dark Lazer is supported by a stream of Doge Darks, Gory Blacks, Shadow Boxer Ks and Owlbrows.
Strategies
This stage can be very difficult without Ring Girl Cat because the Gory Blacks and Doge Darks can break through your defenses easily, especially when the boss comes out. Dark Lazer attacks relentlessly and has a great deal of staying power; fortunately, she is considered a Black enemy, which allows you to use abilities such as Cat Eastwood's slow, Plane Cat's knockback, etc. to slow or entirely stop her advance. Using the Cat CPU is not recommended because you need to be very aware of what's being sent out – a single Gory Black, if not dealt with properly, could tear through your defenses and allow the boss to advance.
Strategy 1 (ft. Wargod Nobunaga)
One unit can make this stage a breeze- Wargod Nobunaga.
Bring 4 meatshields (e.g., Crazed Macho Cat, Mohawk Cat, Crazed Wall Cat, Riceball Cat), Paris Cat/Cyborg Cat, Jamiera Cat and Wargod Nobunaga. (If you want to deal even more damage to Dark Lazer, bring Crazed Bahamut Cat.)
If you have the four meatshields listed, use Crazed Wall Cat to stall the Doge Dark for a bit, then Jamiera and Cyborg to knock back the Shadow Boxer K. ONLY SPAWN ONE PARIS CAT- spawning too many will cause the Shadow Boxer K to die too quickly.
Once the Shadow Boxer K does eventually die, you should have leveled up your Worker Cat enough and have enough money to spawn Wargod Nobunaga (and Bahamut if you brought him). Spawn him and spam meatshields and Parises. When the enemy base is hit, a boss shockwave will spawn with Dark Lazer and a rush of Shadow Boxer Ks and Gory Blacks. Wargod Nobunaga will freeze them, and, hopefully, Dark Lazer. If Dark Lazer is hit, make sure to keep Wargod Nobunaga there to endlessly freeze her. Soon she will die, and you will be able to destroy the base.
