Wicked Face is an Aku variant of The Face introduced in The Aku Realms.

Enemy

Wicked Face has much longer range than The Face (enough to hit Bahamut Cat), which is further increased by his guaranteed Mini-Waves. His stats are nothing to sneeze at either, plus he has a 30% chance to freeze units that survive his attacks, though very briefly. Yet another problem he poses is his Shield, which more than doubles his health unless a Shield Piercer breaks it. Fortunately, his movement speed is only double that of The Face and he still has a relatively slow attack rate.

Strategy

Because of his range and Mini-Waves, it is quite difficult to properly outrange him, but not impossible. Since both the damage and the freeze uptime are low, most units who outranges him can still do a fairly good job against him while being mildly threatened at worst, or while being protected by Octopus Cat at best, who can safely tank Wicked Face's damage, despite him not being a Floating enemy.

Another valid strategy, which is faster in absence of interferences and arguably much more accessible involves bulky units getting up close and quickly dealing damage, all while realistically lasting for a long time while under fire. Talented Li'l Jamiera Cat especially, can be expected to greatly impact the fight by potentially piercing Wicked Face's shield.

Shield aside, little can be done by applying effects on this foe, so raw power, as is often customary with Aku enemies, is the way to go.

Trivia

• Just like Sathankhamun VIII, his design is most likely a reference to Big Ben and Little Ben, the demon-costumed bacteria seen in some of TOTO's toilet commercials, as his Japanese description raises the possibility that he, too, is a form of bacterium.
• He, Sinner Snache, Condemned Peng, Le'Behemoth and Fallen Bear were added to the game files in version 10.8, but were unimplemented and used Doge's stats and sprites as placeholders until version 10.9.
