Strategy/Usage
This unit is similar to Thundia, except Windy deals massive damage to Floating enemies instead of Red enemies.
Windy is a simple unit, she stays in the back and, if well protected, she will sometimes land a powerful attack that will heavily cripple any Floating enemy caught in the blast, all while dealing acceptable damage to other units. If this sounds familiar, it's due to this unit's many similarities to Bahamut Cat, who works in the same way.
Despite the potential to deal a lot of damage, Windy has a very inconveniently long attack rate, causing missed hits to hurt so much more and leaving her very vulnerable to being assaulted between an attack and the next, which can, sometimes, even lead her to be knocked back and interrupted multiple times in a row, with little chance to have a comeback. Luckily, Floating enemies often struggle to take advantage of this, making Windy a good match for them.
Notably, Windy can pose a threat to the Cyclones, Bun Bun family and Face variants. Unfortunately, Brollow is her bane, despite her being able to 1HKO the annoying bird in one shot. That is because Brollow's high speed and high attack power always pose a threat against Windy; who will almost definitely be knocked back. This is especially a problem when Brollow is spawned in hordes, as no matter how much you meatshield, nothing will keep her protected except a maxed Metal Cat.
It is very important to spam cheap and expendable units such as Cat and Tank Cat to defend her, while possibly avoiding units who can knockback Floating, as those cats make a terrible synergy with Windy.
True Form
Divine Windy finally receives the stats she needs to keep up with the stronger enemies that can be encountered while progressing in the game, now having a much more usable health and range, most notably, which, realistically, can be expected to result in Windy lasting more than twice as long on the field. Her increased damage is a good excuse to bring her along in battles too.
Talents
Avoid giving her freeze, as she will, on average, activate her ability less often than every 26 second, which is pathetic, especially for an ability that lasts for 2 seconds. Furthermore, this ability could reset the timer of a longer lasting freeze effect, which makes unlocking this ability an even worse idea. Curse immune is also avoidable, as Windy cannot tank the attacks of Relic enemies, so, most of the time, the curse will just run out as she slowly starts her attack animation.
Attack up and strengthen are what you should focus on the most, while leaving health up as a possible bonus to add later. If you are willing to invest in her for real, with both levels and NP, you can even make Windy into one of your most powerful floating killers!

Trivia
- This cat unit takes after Fujin as theme. The vacuum cleaner that placed around her back/shoulder is supposed to symbolize Fujin's wind bag. Fujin also commonly portrayed as a pair with Raijin which is used as Thundia's theme.
- The plug on Divine Windy's "tail" matches up perfectly with the outlet on Divine Thundia's.
