Wrath of Hell (Merciless) is the first stage in The Greatest Diablo. Completing this stage for the first time will yield a reward of 1,000,000 XP. This is a No Continues stage.

Strategy

While this stage seems more difficult with the restrictions, many of the useful Cats for this stage can still be used. These include Aku Researcher, who is now the main way of piercing Aku Cyclone's shield. Players who have Barrel Cat can also use him to pierce Aku Cyclone's shield even in the face of peons. Talented Bellydancer also works well as a meatshield, though RNG is always at play. Generalist attackers such as Cameraman and Cyborg work well to clear the peons assuming high enough levels.

Additionally, Ubers and Legend Rares are usable here, and many of them work quite well. Any Shield Piercers (such as Summoner Satoru) can work well to trivialize this stage outright, though most generalist Ubers can work here as well.
