Strategy[]

The main goal of this stage is to use attackers that can easily clear the peons and something else to chip down Wahwah in the back. Easy examples of peon clearers include Cyborg Cat, due to high cash flow, Manic Macho Legs, Manic Lion Cat, and any other Area Attack Cat. If one is to own Jellycat at this point, it helps a lot in both killing most oncoming peons as well as chipping down Wahwah with its extreme wave damage. A different unit that can be used to chip down Wahwah is Cyberpunk Cat, especially with his Slow Talent leveled up, but it requires Cyberpunk Cat to stand behind the Cat Base. King Wahwah's Omni Strike causes him to stand 1,000 range away from the base, leaving him unable to hit Cyberpunk Cat. When Cyberpunk Cat knocks back Wahwah, his slow will render him immobile for a little while.

Dark Aegis Garu is an extremely helpful uber unit for this stage, their large health, resistance to trait-less enemies AND guaranteed survive allows them to tank dozens of hits by King Wahwah, not only that they also have guaranteed level 5 mini-wave on their attacks which not only helps handle the peons but also hits King Wahwah too.

Strategy 1[]

Lineup: Bony Bone, Seafarer Cat 30, Manic Macho Legs 30, Bullet Train Cat 50, Eraser Cat 20+70, Manic Eraser Cat 50, Manic Mohawk Cat, Cyborg Cat 50, Cameraman Cat 40.

Items: Rich Cat, Cat CPU

Cannon: Slow Beam 20 (the default Cannon would reset Wahwah's and Brollow's attacks)

Start with Bullet Train Cats and Erasers, spawning them whenever possible. Bullet Train will make good money off Trolly Bloggers, being constantly knocked back. Start spawning Cyborgs and Manic Macho Legs against Mr. Angels, and once Ginger Snaches begin to spawn, start spawning Cameramen and your other two meatshields. As Kroxos start to appear, turn on the Cat CPU: this is the point where enemies begin to tear through your cats and you need anything you can out. Make sure you have enough money (shouldn't be an issue). Use Slow Beam when things start to get chaotic. As the peon spam stops (after all Ginger Snaches and Kroxos are dead), turn off the Cat CPU and use Manic Erasers, Manic Macho Legs and Bullet Trains to slowly whittle down King Wahwah. Once Wahwah is dead, you can turn on the Cat CPU to destroy the enemy base faster.

This strategy has a fair reliability and can be done with no Uber Rares, and the only randomness involved is in Seafarer's ability to freeze Kroxo.

Strategy 2 (Rush)[]

Lineup: Manic Mohawk Cat, Manic Eraser Cat (35), Stone Cat (30), Slime Cat (30), Manic Macho Legs (30), Zamboney Cat (35), Courier Cat (50), Manic Island Cat (35), Can Can Cat (40, Double Bounty, Move Speed Max, Attack Up 5), Bullet Train Cat (45)

Notes: Cannon used was Slow Beam. Slime Cat is likely optional, and can be replaced with any other speedy unit that deals good DPS.

Start off the level by sending out a Bullet Train to get money off of the initial Trolly Bloggers. As soon as you can after that, send out Zamboney Cat. This should hold the line for a few seconds. Those few seconds will be used to start spamming all your units except Slime Cat/ your other unit. Once Wahwah is stunlocked, you can start sending out Slime Cat. Wahwah should die before the Kroxos arrive.

Trivia[]

  • Wrath of the Dogelord's Japanese name, King of Wanko, may be a reference to the annual stand-up comedy tournament King of Conte (Conte is pronounced Konto in Japanese, rhyming with Wanko). While there are many other "King ofs" that it could also be referring to, King of Conte is the most likely possibility because King Wahwah's Japanese description mentions that he is part of a stand-up comedy duo with Mistress Celeboodle.
