Young Nyan is the fifth and final stage in Never Not Summer!

Battleground[]

Strategy[]

You will need plenty of meatshields to hold off Selena and Sunny Celeboodle and a ranged attacker to take the Bearkinis. The only other enemies are Celeboodle and Mr. Angel, both of which are relatively weak, so units like Cyborg Cat will make quick work of them. The Bearkinis spawn relatively far apart, giving you plenty of time to stack ranged attackers like Dragon Cat and its Crazed counterpart to take them out before they stack. Sunny Celeboodle will likely die before Selena and once she is taken care off, all that's left is to hold off Selena and chip away at her with your stack of attackers.

Strategy 1[]

Lineup: Mohawk Cat 20+15, Crazed Macho Cat 20, Eraser Cat 20+24, Crazed Wall Cat 20, Cyborg Cat 30, Drama Cats 30+3, King Dragon Cat 20+19, Holy Valkyrie Cat 30, Crazed Bahamut Cat 30

Notes: The open slot can be place with powerful area attack backliners.

The crucial phase is at the beginning, balancing the push towards the enemy base and allowing Mr. Angels to eliminate your units. Start by spamming dual walls and summoning a single Cyborg to deal with the Celeboodle. Once the Celeboodle is defeated, stop spawning any new units and let Mr. Angels eliminate your existing ones. If the boss wave is accidentally triggered before reaching maximum cash, force close and restart the stage.

Avoid spawning Cyborg after the shockwave has triggered unless all other units have been summoned and sufficient funds are available. Her cost can bankrupt you if not managed carefully. During the battle, you will heavily rely on the performance of backline units and Holy Valkyrie Cat's freezing ability to turn the tide in your favor. Never stop spamming meatshields to maintain a strong frontline defense against enemy attacks.

If available, use a powerful backliner like Ururun Cat at level 30 to handle the 600% Bearkinis effectively. If Ururun is not accessible, use an unit with comparable range, damage, and health to tackle the challenge.

Trivia[]

  • Like all Never Not Summer! stages, Young Nyan is a reference to a song, in this case "YOUNG MAN" by Hideki Saijo.
    • It is the only Never Not Summer! stage whose reference wasn't lost in translation, although the Japanese name being in all caps does make it more obvious.
