Zero Luza (超生命体ゼロルーザ, Chō Seimeitai Zero Rūza, Super-Lifeform Zero Luza) is a Relic/Colossus variant of Great Ape Luza introduced in Sacred Forest. Zero Luza is one of the two enemy versions of Ape Lord Luza.
Enemy[]
Zero Luza is the greatest threat in Uncanny Legends to date. It has a whopping 4 million health with only three knockbacks, 80,000 damage, and strengthens by 100% at 33% health. Combined with its long overall reach, nothing can truly escape its grasp. It is also immune to freeze and waves, making it the more difficult to ward off with the constant pressure of any support.
Strategy[]
Zero Luza is able to easily gain ground with the peons but has a somewhat slow attack rate, and its attacks can even be baited, so make sure the peons don't get to you for a clear shot at it. A high-level Cone Cat is the ideal meatshield, surviving even a strengthened hit from Zero Luza (in 3-crown Revival of Origin, a high-level Curseblast Foundation will be needed for it to survive). Awakened Doron, despite not being able to freeze Zero Luza, is nonetheless able to knock it back and help regain ground while doing some chip damage, further supplemented by his ablity to also knockback the Relic support. Sniper the Deadeye can fill a similar role to Awakened Doron, but with much less damage, being capable of not only knocking Luza back, but also outranging its Omni Strikes and slowing for 3 seconds, but beware of Bore Jr. firing off waves. Otherwise, you can use the Breakerblast Cannon to push Luza back in sticky situations. Zero Luza can be gotten into a permanent knockback chain by a stack of talented Doctor Cats, although it is somewhat difficult to pull off.

Trivia[]
- Although it sounds similar to loser, the name Luza (ルーザ) is more likely derived from saru or zaru (猿/サル/ザル), the Japanese word for monkey.
- Since its prior form is a Behemoth, Zero Luza may have been inspired by Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak's Garangolm, a huge, grey-and-green gorilla-like monster associated with nature. Other parallels between Zero Luza and Garangolm include heavily armored arms, eye color when attacking (red), and becoming more dangerous as their health drops.
- It is the only Colossus enemy whose "core" is green rather than black and the only one whose Japanese description does not mention genome modification nor the Laboratory of Relics.
- True Superfeline can be seen as a foil to Zero Luza:
- True Superfeline is a fast, small, embodiment of Humanity Catified whose Japanese description says it appears at the end of eternal return, while Zero Luza is a slow, towering ancestor of humanity encountered in the ancient past, just after Humanity Catified.
- Superfeline II shrinks when it evolves into True Superfeline, whereas Great Ape Luza becomes much larger as Zero Luza.
- True Superfeline's abilities directly counter Zero Luza's Relic/Colossus typing.
- True Superfeline is the last unit of the first rarity (Normal), obtainable only after clearing the last chapter of Cats of the Cosmos, while Zero Luza is the final boss of Uncanny Legends, which has "origin" as a common theme.
- Their Japanese names both contain the word chō (超 "super"). True Superfeline is Neko Chōjin (ネコ超人, "Cat Superman" or "Cat Superhuman"), while Zero Luza is Chō Seimeitai Zero Rūza (超生命体ゼロルーザ, "Super-Lifeform Zero Luza").
- The second kanji in True Superfeline's Japanese name is 人 ("person", "human" or "an individual"), which is also present in the Japanese names of Humanity Catified, Reign of the Ape Lord, Ape Lord's Revenge and Birth of True Man.
- Both were added in Version 12.0.
- True Superfeline's previous form is named Superfeline II, while Zero Luza has the number zero in its name.
- Zero Luza's Japanese description stating that it took in energy said to be the origin (起源) of all things and awakened (覚醒) its true power is a reference to Revival of Origin's Japanese name, Awakening of Origin (起源の覚醒).
- Zero Luza, Teacher Bear, Hyppoh, Helmut Krabbe, and the Origin Base are the rarest enemies in Uncanny Legends, appearing in only one stage each.
- It has the highest attack power and money drop of all Relics and the highest health, attack power and DPS, longest attack foreswing and longest attack cycle of all Colossus enemies.
